Can online dating websites be trusted?
I keep wondering if online dating apps are trustworthy. Is the person I'm chatting with on the app truly trustworthy? By the way, I'm 22 years old and haven't created an account on any dating app yet. However, I'm thinking about creating an account on a good app soon and starting a new journey in life. But my inner fear keeps me from doing so. I have a friend named Avvy, whenever I remember her, my faith in love vanishes. It was in 2022 when Avvy created an account on a dating app for the first time. I will not reveal the name of the app because many people may object to it. But let me tell you that the app is very popular in USA and millions of people use it. She didn't know much about online dating. On her first day, she met a guy named David. David was incredibly handsome, so Avvy became very attracted to him. This continued for a month. They spent most of the day chatting online. But about a month later, David told Avvy that his mother had been in a car accident and needed $10,000 in emergency funds. He said he was embarrassed to ask Avvy for money because they hadn't even met yet. But Avvy had truly fallen in love with David, so she sent him the money. After sending the money, the two didn't talk much. David thanked Avvy and told her he would return the money in three days. But honestly, they never spoke again. David never logged in with that ID. Avvy waited for him for 20 days, always saying that David wasn't a scammer; his mother wasn't well, so he wasn't logging in. It's been three years since the incident, in 2025, but David is still nowhere to be found. So, I don't want to fall victim to these scammers.

Racheal, you've explained it very well. One person's mistake shouldn't be punished for others. Online dating isn't bad, but there's still that 1% who are making it bad. We can't change these scammers' habits, but we can change our own. If we could know which profiles are legitimate and which are scams, it would be much easier.

Is Vocal+ Worth the Investment for Aspiring Writers?
If you love writing or if writing is your profession, then yes, Vocal+ is a good platform for you. I wouldn't say that Vocal+ is better than Medium or SubStack, but it's certainly not inferior to them. I'm a premium member of Vocal+ and have been writing there for the past two years. However, I don't write there to earn money. As you know, I've also made subscriptions to the "Digital Detective Hub" community free so I can share my knowledge. Vocal Media charges approximately $9.99 per month for a monthly subscription. If you purchase a one-year subscription, you'll only pay $99 per year (equivalent to $8.25 per month). If you're a premium user of Vocal Media, you can earn around $6.00 per 1,000 reads. Free users can also earn money by writing articles on the platform. Free members are paid $3.80 per 1,000 reads. I'd recommend starting with the free version first. If you think the platform has potential, consider Vocal+. Medium and SubStack are also good platforms and will remain popular in 2025. You can try them too.

Is Vocal+ Worth the Investment for Aspiring Writers?
Is online shopping always safe?
In this digital world, everything has become easier. A few years ago, if we wanted to buy something, we had to go to a store. But since the rise of online shopping, people can buy everything from needles to planes. Now, you don't even have to go to Walmart to buy groceries. Instacart and Walmart Grocery deliver groceries to your doorstep within minutes. Yes, online shopping is safe if you shop from the big players I've mentioned. However, many fake online websites are being launched these days, created solely to deceive people. And numerous individuals become victims of these fraudulent websites. Whenever you want to shop on a new website, you should first read its reviews. If the reviews and website information aren't available online, consider this a red flag and you should be cautious. Don't share your bank details on such platforms. In this way you can avoid online fraud.

If we remain vigilant, no one can defraud us. Sometimes, we become greedy and, in the pursuit of cheap deals, share our card details on fraudulent websites. Before adding your bank details to any online website, whether it provides services or goods, you must search about it on Google.
How often does Google maps update satellite images?
I've been noticing for a while that the images displayed on Google Maps haven't changed for the past year. I'd like to know whether Google changes these images or not. And if it does, when will it do so?

Not all images on Google Maps are updated at once. However, it can take anywhere from 1 to three 3 for images to be updated. This also depends on the development status of the city you're talking about. If there's a lot of new development happening there, Google will prioritize it, and it's possible that Google will update satellite images there in less than a year. Google always has the best interests of its users in mind. In urban, rapidly changing areas: about 1-3 years In remote or rural zones: every 3-5 years, sometimes longer
What should you do if you have a fight with your husband?
If I have a fight with my husband, I don't even talk to him; he himself comes to me again and again to try and convince me. And to be honest, when he does this, I feel like talking to him and giving him a tight hug. But then that girlish ego comes in the way: I won't agree until he apologizes. One day, when we had a fight, he didn't come to pacify me for the entire day. But I was stubborn, and I didn't talk to him all day. But that night, his patience broke. He finally came to apologize to me. Regardless of whose fault it is, it's always the husband who has to pay the price. Do you all also agree with me on this?🤣

Your husband is a good man. And yes, it's true that it's always the man who has to give in. But arguments do happen in relationships. If you have minor disagreements in your relationship, it doesn't mean there's no love between you. Rather, a woman will always consciously try to convince her husband of her point of view. These fights deepen the relationship.
