I’ve been on over 10 sales calls in the home improvement niche. Ten. Each one filled with valuable lessons but… something was off. I didn’t speak their language. Sure, I could talk leads, conversions, ROAS—but their world of flooring and renovations felt foreign. It wasn’t my playground. I realized, after some deep reflection (and a few sleepless nights), that I wasn’t staying true to my roots. My experience with brands like Benelli and KTM, where I lived and breathed everything automotive, was being overlooked. I even helped an automobile e-commerce brand hit a whopping 900%+ ROAS—a feat I was immensely proud of. Yet, I was spending my days trying to fit into a niche where my heart didn’t quite belong. So, I’m pivoting. No fancy announcements, no big sales pitch—just honesty. I’m refocusing on the industry I know best: automobiles. It’s where I understand the language, the pulse, and the audience inside out. I know I can help these businesses scale, just like I did in the past. The lesson?
