@Tim Cahill yea should not be a problem at all if you don't own them. You can with wifi stream whatever also through a bunch of platforms on serato. honestly most djs have all pirated tracks anyway only a few buy from beatport or other venders

@Tim Cahill I have never used it. I tend to be organizing my sets and just picking specific tracks so i don't usually use the dj libraries as i am often in places with less then reliable internet so i always download everything. i think there are a few services that are available and each has a different direction, depends what you want to play. I try to avoid more subscriptions if i can god knows how many i have right now.
Live streaming sets
Hi team want to play live not my songs which I legally have - how to stream without being taken down for copyright ?

It depends alot on different things. if you write the songs down in the the stream. The track list that usually avoids this problem. That being said it is never certain what will happen. Usually smaller artists have minimal problems if citing the songs.

share your music here
If you have your own music or you have sets that are online feel free to share here so we can see the variety of music people operate in. Even if someone is djing one scene it is always important to see what is happening all around and get some inspiration from other's mixes. Only shares, also share your socials so we can all link up. On the map it shows where everyone is from.

@Yota Ko yooo, lots of variation in there, got some sets and lots of tracks, no one track came up. I think looking at some references with the dnb drums to see exactly what style your leveling things to would be good. on some tracks it feels like they are a bit in the back and kinda washed. I often have this problem if i am using sample loops and i can't control each piece of the kit really well. so when i am mixing it can get a little muddy with a lot of high mids washing out some of the clearity.

It is super important to get very familiar with your software so when you are making decisions, listening, mixing and putting on a show you do not need to look for things or squint to figure out what is going on. This is the next step in the process to learning out to dj. Take your time and get to know all the fundamentals to keep moving forward. https://docs.google.com/document/d/1pewcKwQDV-JF9xD-fQCZJ5TrP2-cZaf0kCU3w4y7J0o/edit?usp=sharing free newsletter signup here https://djartistlab.beehiiv.com/

yea i think they all are similar, i and many other people have various software issues with rekordbox but it is the standard software for playing in clubs, so i use rekordbox. they all are very similar at this point. so starting out I would use whatever you want. I think you are from canada so it's mainly rekordbox for clubs up there. Though there are alot of other options that are cheaper at first and they all do the same things. mixx is free, traktor is one time payment for life and is used more in germany, serato is pretty much like rekordbox with payments but used more in europe. i also see people using virtual dj alot.
