Me also, otherwise I had to run new members through funnel to capture the information before sending them in to Skool. I had contact information for many, but not all, and they might sign up with updated contact and email information that I would like to capture. @Sam Ovens
Hi Sam and Team, I'd love to see Loom integration, in addition to YouTube and Vimeo. In my current FB community, both myself as admin and my students use loom daily. Although this may be niche specific, as my students do public speaking exercises as part of their curriculum. Thanks again to yourself and your amazing team for all your hard work and dedication! ~ Jennifer
@Sid Sahasrabuddhe Regarding item 1, I figured out that you were talking about the Loom settings on the right side of the video which I am familiar with - thanks. Timestamps not working is my remaining issue.
I made a second account (besides my group admin account) to try out some settings. I couldn't find a way to delete this existing test-account. I can only exit the group but the account is still there. Will there be a feature to delete an account?
Hi Team! Just wanted to let you know about a few improvements we’ve just implemented for classroom. 1. Turn off discussion for a course module - If you don’t need discussion and post references at the bottom of a particular course module, you can easily turn them off in the edit section for that module. 2. Duplicate course modules - If you spend time creating similar course modules, you can now speed things up by simply duplicating an existing one! Just copy the module, change the things you need, publish, and save! Good for daily QA call uploads, recurring content, etc. 3. Mobile - Go to next button. On mobile, when you click “Mark as Done” - we’ve provided you with a “go to next” link for a quick transition to the next course module. 4. Remembering the last course module you were on. When you leave and then revisit classroom, you’ll be back at the module where you left off, so you can quickly get back to learning. Hope you all enjoy! Please continue to send us your feedback and any issues that you see. Your response is always much appreciated.
Hi - One thing I've gotten a lot of value out of in Uplevel is the encouraging relationship with my accountability partner. Also, I've noticed that a few people in my program who have an accountability partner seem to be the most successful and engaged with the program. Is there a way to offer inside of Skool as a way for members to connect with and find an accountability partner? Thank you
I’d love an accountability partner and somebody to work on my sales skills. I’m right at the point where I’m doing social outreach and I really don’t like doing it but I know it needs to be done send me a message if you’re interested in being partners
I saw that only Youtube, Wista, Vimeo and Loom is possible. I am creating my own skool right now and can't decide on wich software to use, because ... Youtube makes the videos feel like the free content and may make the customer feel bad because they paid for "Youtube Videos". Vimeo slows you down because you have a weekly upload limit. Wista is extremely expensive and only allows like 10 Videos for 99$/month. The video player of Loom dosen't work well for course videos ( Emojis, Comments, Viewcounter, Date, ...) How do you host your videos and what software would you recommend?
I've used all three. I don't like using YouTube for content I'm charging for, I had issues with Vimeo streaming good in Asia (where I'm located), so I use Wistia. It is a bit pricey, but I love the compression, streaming and caption features. It is free for your first 3 videos.
