Thought of the day
"Never let the facts, common sense, or reality get in the way of doing something amazing" - most likely someone at one time or another.

Don't be scared to do something! I hate what people think of me when I dance but chose to say F it and I ended up getting a dragon figure out of it at the VIP party from the convention. He said I was supposed to give it to people who were good dancers. Which I don't really feel I am, but me and Brooke were having a lot of fun. She got a creepy doll!
Huion Slate 13
I recently learned about the Huion Kamvas Slate 13. if you are looking to possibly replace your iPad, and want a standalone drawing tablet. If you’re looking for a solid media‑tablet that gives you a real drawing‑experience without having to hook into a full PC/Mac, the Slate 13 is a sweet option. Great for sketching, concept art, note‑taking, or mixed media. For pro‑level precision work (comics, tiny details), you might still want something with higher refresh / ultra‑low latency. But for what it offers, I think it punches well above its weight. https://store.huion.com/products/kamvas-slate-13?af_global_code=A7M598

There are Day Walkers among us.
🦇 The Story Behind the “Day Walker” Caricature 🦇 Back when I worked with Joel in a call center, the world was just starting to become aware of this new thing called COVID. During that time, Joel got sick—really sick—and it seemed like he was out forever. When he finally came back, we were all relieved (and being the jokesters we were) we started calling him a “Day Walker”. It was our way of teasing him for “coming back from the dead” and, of course, pulling a little inspiration from the Blade movies with Wesley Snipes. That running joke sparked an idea in me—I decided to create a caricature of Joel transformed into Blade, The Day Walker. Shades, fangs, sword, and all. This is one of those fun examples of how humor, creativity, and friendship can mix together into something memorable. This memory certainly qualifies as a "Passion Project" because I donated my time and talent so a coworker and friend could feel welcomed back.
