Hey team, I recently had a good win on the Melbourne cup and going to spend a little money on my golfing game. I’m pretty new to the sport. And still struggling a lot with consistency. My setup currently is - stealth 2 driver - M4 irons - Second hand woods Outside of lessons, if you were in my shoes where would you start?

I would look at whatever gets you playing more golf. A launch monitor or membership/access to one that gives you good data is a great resource and an asset that you can use and resell later. As for consistency try this... I use something called "differential practice". Purposely hitting it right/left, toe/heel, open/close, high on the face/low on the face. You challenge yourself to develop your "feel" so you can self-diagnose and know what tendencies are happening or you are experiencing. You can challenge yourself simply on the range or ideally using a launch monitor that gives you specific number feedback. As you graduate certain levels then you get more specific with degrees of club face open/closed, swing path, locations on your driver face. Get some foot spray and spray it on your club face and get a feel for where you sit as of right now. Or use a launch monitor with the proper feedback.
