Putting My Skool Goal Out There
Hey Tampa Bay Skoolers, I figured I’d throw this out there in our group since there’s only a handful of us here so far. Over the past year I’ve had some encouraging wins with Skool, and it convinced me there’s a real opportunity if you stay consistent and keep building. So for the next 12 months I’m going all in on Skool. My goal is to get to 750 total members across three communities and grow that into around $30K/month in MRR between membership revenue and affiliate income connected to the communities. Obviously that doesn’t happen easily or overnight, but the plan is pretty simple: • Build genuinely helpful niche communities • Keep improving the content and resources inside them • Market them through YouTube and other channels • Stay consistent and let things compound over time One of the reasons I started this Tampa Bay Skoolers group is because doing this kind of work can be a little isolating. Most people in your everyday life don’t really understand the whole online community / creator world. It’s going to be so nice having a local group where people actually get what you're working on. I’d be curious to hear what goals everyone else here has for the next year too. It will be cool to see what this small group builds over the next 12 months.

Tampa Bay Skoolers Meetup ☕ (Let's Go!!!)
Clear your calendar. Get a babysitter. Tell the spouse you’re “going to a business meeting.” 😄 We’re kicking off our first Tampa Bay Skoolers meetup at Southern Grounds & Co. If you run a Skool community in Tampa Bay, come grab a coffee, chat, and connect with other creators who actually understand what you do online. When you work for yourself building things on the internet, the people around you at home don’t always get it. This is a chance to meet others who do. Come hang out, talk about what you’re building, swap ideas, and make some new connections. Who knows what could come from it. (This is a casual, laidback meetup) 🙂 Here's the meetup link

Added to the calendar. Just need to tell the spouse I have a business meeting.
Introduction
Figured I should do the responsible adult thing and introduce myself instead of lurking in the shadows like a mall ninja with Wi-Fi. I’m a digital creator and I spend a lot of my time working in content, video editing, AI tools and e-commerce. So basically, I live somewhere in the chaotic overlap of creativity, tech and “let me test one more idea real quick” at 11:47 PM. I’m also a pretty big nerd, which is less of a hobby and more of a factory setting at this point. I’m into movies, pop culture, creative projects, tech and all the weird, fun stuff that comes with building things online. If it involves storytelling, strategy, making cool stuff or geeking out over a process, there’s a decent chance I’m into it. I joined this group to meet more people in the area, make some real connections and get out from behind the screen a bit more. Always down to connect with creative people, entrepreneurs, business owners and generally good humans who are building interesting things. Whether it leads to friendships, collaborations, business opportunities or just finding other people who also have too many tabs open in life, I’m here for it. Looking forward to meeting everybody and seeing what kind of trouble—I mean opportunities—we can get into around Tampa Bay.

@David Frizzell Bro, I know. My back is against the wall. I have been working on AI Filmmaking and am now looking to do AI Automation for people. I have been going full force on AI Filmmaking since January when I lost my job. I have had no success in getting a paid gig. And in the past few days have been trying my hand at the AI Automation, but I have been having issues with the system. I know there is great money to be made, but it would take 2-3 months to get this AI automation aspect up and running where I know I can make $10-50k/month. But we're down to one income and my wife works 12-hour shifts as a Respiratory Therapist; often working a few over time shifts. It's a big ask to have her continue for a bit longer while I get this setup. Prospects are not knocking down the door and from her perspective, it seems as though I will never get a paid gig. Which hurts, because I know it will change our lives forever.
