Where to Find Leads When You're Starting From Zero in Affiliate Marketing
One of the hardest parts of affiliate marketing isn't the product — it's finding people to actually talk to. Most of us don't start with a big following or built-in trust. In reality, you'll be reaching out to strangers more often than not. Here's the thing though: **strangers are often more open than you'd expect.** Many of them are actively searching for a solution — they just haven't found the right product or service yet. If you show up consistently and bring real value, a good number of them will end up trusting what you're offering, even without knowing you personally. A few lessons worth keeping in mind: 📌 Facebook groups are a goldmine — There are thousands of affiliate marketing, promo, and "share your link" groups on FB. Join ones in your niche and get active, not just to post your link, but to participate. 📌 Consistency beats intensity — One post won't move the needle. Showing up regularly — even a few times a week — is what slowly builds visibility and trust over time. 📌 Engage before you promote — Comment on others' posts, answer questions, be genuinely helpful. People remember who shows up to add value, not just who drops links. 📌 Track what's working — Not every group or post will convert the same way. Pay attention to where you're getting clicks, comments, or DMs, and lean into what's actually working. 📌 Expect it to be slow at first — Almost nobody sees instant results. The people who eventually succeed are usually the ones who didn't quit during the quiet weeks. Affiliate marketing rewards patience and consistency more than any single "hack." Keep showing up, stay helpful, and the leads tend to follow over time. What's been the toughest part for you so far in finding leads?

Avoiding being wrongfully suspended by FB Mafia.
Growing Your Affiliate Marketing Business? Try This!
One of the easiest (and most underrated) ways to find leads and prospects for your affiliate business is joining Facebook Groups related to your niche. Here's why it works: ✅ Built in audience – these groups are already filled with people interested in your topic ✅ Free exposure – no ad spend needed to get your links in front of real people ✅ Community trust – engaging genuinely builds credibility before you even pitch anything ✅ Direct feedback – you'll quickly learn what resonates with your audience How to do it right: Join groups related to your niche (make money online, side hustles, specific product categories, etc.) Engage first. Comment, answer questions, be helpful before promoting anything Share value, not just links. Give tips, personal experience, or a quick win before dropping your affiliate link Follow group rules. Many groups restrict promo posts to specific days or threads, so always check first Be consistent. One post won't cut it. Show up regularly and build recognition Pro tip: People buy from those they trust. Focus on being helpful first, and the leads will follow naturally.

Yes, joining FB Groups can be a benefit to finding leads and prospects, as long as you abide by the group's rules. And even if you do...the FB AI Gustapo may feel you are breaking their rules and then suspend your account indefinitely. So be cautious.
