Does anyone think this is real?
The article is intentionally scary, but also very vague. Also, the organization seems to be some kind of Government contractor, so it seems like this may just have the intention of driving clients to them? Either way, the next 12 months will be interesting. We should all get back to maintaining paper records for our financial assets https://www.dreamgroup.com/blog/inside-a-multi-agent-ai-framework-used-to-compromise-government-entities-in-asia

@Shane McGrath That was an inside job by the CTO of Coinkite. He was CTO but also using a fake identity and pretended to be a coder submitting and verifying code. He dropped the secure encryption on purpose. No doubt you are right about what is coming though.
One more incredible article from the Vibe Code Guild Brain
You guys are really missing out by not making the Info Feed on the Vibe Code Guild Brain project a part of your daily reading. I've been dropping a handful of articles in here, but there's so much incredible content that I'm curating every day in the Brain. Check this out, this is one of the coolest AI use cases I've seen recently. Sign Language to Text. What a massive quality of life increase for hearing impaired people to be able to communicate with everyone else. Love how AI is improving everyone's life so quickly! https://deepmind.google/blog/putting-sign-language-ai-into-users-hands/

I shared this to people I know who work with the hearing impaired.
Vibe Coded a new app today !
I just made an app with grok build that extracts all the stems from all your suno songs, it converts them into sheet music for guitar, piano, bass, breaks down chord structure, provides the lyrics. So if you ever wrote a song on suno and thought "hey, I'd love to play that for real", this is how you do that. I screen recorded it, the file is 466mb in size so I'm going to compress it but it's a one stop shop. It's a great resource for giving the music to local garage bands to get them to play your songs in bars and pubs !!!! If you are more into edm, hardstyle, dance etc, it'll extract the underlying bass, all the vocals so you can load it into your own software and make your own remixes. I call it Clarence. I should probably come up with a much more fitting name, like the music analyzer or something like that but I think Clarence rolls off the tongue.

Hi Chris, This is perfect. Can you share the link? Is it on Github?
[Friday Night Aug 1st, 2026] The one where we launched a VIP community and Michael showed off AI animation magic
Group discussed launching paid VIP membership with daily calls, announced contest winners, reviewed projects including AI animation and game development, and debated AI model complexity and language barriers. Captured meeting · August 1 · by Tu Michael (with help from AI, of course ^^ ) Key Takeaways - VIP community launching next week: $49/month with daily calls, recorded transcripts, and searchable database; all active members get free lifetime VIP access - Contest winners announced: Chris wins best Candy Crush clone and most useful app (Suno stem separator), Paul wins most creative, John wins best group member - Michael's AI animation placed top 50: Entered CapCut/Vietfilm AI Talent contest using Sora-generated clips stitched in CapCut, demonstrating professional-quality anime-style output - AI models are getting harder to prompt: Newer models use larger vocabularies with more ambiguous language, creating barriers for non-native English speakers and less experienced users Topics Discussed Speaker Diarization for 4,000 Videos Discussion about processing a large video archive to extract transcripts and tag speakers. Parallel processing on multi-core hardware could reduce the estimated 14-day serial timeline significantly. - Tools mentioned: Parakeet (IBM), Nemotron (Nvidia), Cole Medlin's $17/month service - Key challenge: Diarization (labeling who said what) is harder than transcription itself - Google Gemini advantage: Can tag speakers by login identity during live meetings, but backfilling archived video is a different problem. 1. Michael's AI Animation Work Michael demonstrated two anime-style short films created for a CapCut/Vietfilm AI Talent contest, placing 36th out of top 50 and advancing to the next round. Previously won top 3 in a smaller international contest when Sora launched. - Workflow: Generate 15-second clips in Sora with consistent characters using a "collage method" (face, full body, environment references), then stitch in CapCut

Yes, thanks so much! Very cool.
What’s up with Bitcoin?
Did someone finally hack it or something? I’m seeing people on X claiming their cold storage got wiped out @J Stevenson ??

@Shane McGrath I expect you are right. Buckle up people. Update: SCANDAL: Coldcard knew about the randomness flaw for years, and ignored it Apparently this draining has been happening for years to a few unsuspecung users, meaning that someone was aware of the randomness flaw since a few years ago. In 2022, a brand new Coldcard user was drained after transferring funds to it. https://reddit.com/r/Bitcoin/s/NJXFF7hI0a… Look, I really like nvk, but this definitely makes it a scandal now, given that the victim was blocked for reporting this, and this could possibly see Coinkite employees getting put on trial for this. This was posted on X. I had this happen to me on a Ledger wallet years ago. This is why I don't use hardware wallets. Stay on an exchange or use a paper wallet or use Node software.

Could an AI have done this? I wonder.
