New video needs some love
This video explaining Minsky's Financial Instability Hypothesis and my model of it needs some love. It's tracking at the bottom of the range of views my videos get. If a LOT of you log in and watch it, you could give it the push it needs to "go viral". So please do! It's informative as always, and Jordan's team have done their usual sterling job (there are a couple of errors, but I can live with that). So please, if your computer is handy, load https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zr-v6glwC8Y and let it run to the end--it's just 12 minutes long. I'd like if you did actually watch it of course, but that's not necessary: this is about gaming the YouTube algorithm, and just running it in your browser for the full 12 minutes with the sound turned down will go just as well.
Request for testimonials
Hi everyone, Firstly, my thanks to you for signing up to this lecture series--and, I have to say, given the quality of discussions you're having, this community as well. I would now like your help in expanding this community. Please let me know if you'd be willing to do a testimonial about this course, either in video format (preferred) or text. You signed up in the early days, as you know, and frankly I wasn't sure myself how well this would work out. But I am now proud of the lectures I've put together, and I'm quite happy to tell people that this is both value for money and a worthy cause. But of course, that will be much more effective if it comes from you rather than me. So, if you're willing to help out here, can you say so in the replies here? Please also let me know what you prefer--video (which is preferred) or quick text (which you could write the latter in the reply if you feel inclined). I'll then pass these details on to Jordan, who will get in touch to arrange the videos. I expect that all it will take is say 30 seconds of you talking to your webcam--and spontaneously and live, rather than to a script. You'll need to say your name--which can be the whole kaboodle or just your first name, if you'd prefer to be somewhat anonymous. And then add what you think of the course, and your recommendation to people who are considering signing up. Cheers all, Steve PS I'm writing the slides I'll give at that commercial property talk in Barcelona on Tuesday week right now, after which I'll get back to writing the Ravel lecture. That will leave just the "critique of Neoclassical micro" lecture to finish and the first full set of lectures will be complete (well, except for the "flowchart side of Minsky" lecture which I noted that I'll give in every 2nd set of lectures, in place of the Godley Table lecture I gave in the current set of ten).

@JanOlaf Sipkes Thanks! I've been asked to publish it in the Real World Economics Review in an expanded form. I'll include Blinder's empirical (survey) discovery of falling marginal cost in the 1990s and his complete failure to include it in his economics textbook--and in fact he gives an explanation and an example of diminishing marginal productivity which any other textbook writer would fail!

@Oliver Williams This is excellent Oliver, many thanks. I've just seen it--I've been beyond busy in the last two weeks--and I'll copy this to Twitter now.
No Legacy class today
I am commuting back from Prague to Amsterdam at the time of the class. So Iโ€™ll resume next week.

Big News: Lectures natively on Skool soon
There are almost 700 people in the class now, and almost 100 attend the Europe/USA lecture each week, which is the limit for Jordan's Zoom subscription. I just asked Jordan to purchase the higher level (which allows 500 people), and then saw the post from Skool that literally today, they enable video calls in Skool. I'll still use Zoom for today's lecture in just under 4 hours' time, but in future I'll use the Skool system--once I've done some test runs.
