Post a pic of your drum kit! I’ll start — this is my Ludwig Classic Maple in Red Sparkle. 12", 16", 22" with a 14" 1970s Black Beauty snare Cymbals are Zildjian Ks. Let’s see your setups! 🥁
E drums are good! Just make sure they are set up in the most natural way for your body (it can be a bit more restrictive because of the drum rack, but just adjust it as best you can so you don't feel bunched up! Especially the snare position & height)
What do you struggle with the most on drums? Speed? Endurance? Bass drum technique? Keeping time? Playing relaxed? For me, it's actually playing too fast. I tend to rush, so I'm always working on reining in the tempo. Let me know what your biggest issue is — it will also help shape future lessons in Stevo 32 DrumSkool.
I cover how I set up my kit in Video 2 of Module 1. Getting the setup right is huge — if the kit isn’t fighting your body, a lot of problems disappear right away. Check that video out and let me know if it helps. The goal is to have everything positioned so you can stay relaxed and balanced behind the kit. If you want, you can also post a photo of your setup here and I can take a look. Sometimes it’s just one small thing — throne height, snare position, pedal distance — that makes a big difference!
This is a brand new course and community, so if you notice anything that could be improved — lesson clarity, audio levels, missing info, confusing sections, etc. — let me know! I’ll be actively updating and improving the material as we go. Thanks for helping make the Stevo 32 DrumSkool better!
This is where you can post practice videos for feedback. How it works: • Upload one video per week max • 60–120 seconds is perfect • Tell me what you’re working on • Tell me what you want feedback on All feedback happens here so everyone can learn. Feel free to DM questions — but please don’t DM practice videos. There’s no “week 1 / week 6” here — move at your own pace!
