As you can see in the post below...I have responded to every challange and I am ready for more. Give the name of a trick you currently own and you are looking for a new routine or a method of using the trick. I will post my ideas here for everyone to enjoy.
@MagicBrad Gudim Yes, I too use the 45 records in my show for seniors....I start off by asking them if they know what this is? Showing the plastic piece that went into the records to hold them on the spindle. As I perform that routine I am asking them what were the number song of the years back in the 50 or 60's. Then I ask them for their favorites. I talk about how the records changed colors....meaning becoming a gold record! That sets me up to do the color changing routine.
@Paul Greggs Hippity Hop Rabbits was one of the first tricks I fell in love with....in my early years I performed it a lot. But I slowly swayed away from sucker tricks. My suggestion would be to turn it in to routine with patter about How we see ourselves verses how we see other people....we are not all the same. But when you are "Putting yourself in someone else's shoes" is the idiom we use to describe cognitive empathy...things change. You get what I am saying? Then the kicker in the end is when they both change colors....again making the point of your message.
Must of you may know I came up the idea of a new trick a few years ago...the Watering Can Botania. I recently made a mini version of the one I had Tora making for me years ago....this one was a econmical mini version. I made 3 of them this last week and I sold them all today... https://youtu.be/Xo7dhxhg-Hs?si=ClSZsVzzjZZ3VZam
OK...OK...I hear what you are saying...I may have a gift of creating new ideas for my magic but you feel you don't. Therefore I am going start sharing with you here in Retro Magic how I have developed this gift so you too can do it too... https://youtu.be/sYSJ0pJUh0g?feature=shared
