🗣️"Just be more organised." 🗣️"Just leave earlier." If only the problem lived where people think it does... ⏲️Time blindness is real and it's mechanical. Most people have a quiet internal clock running in the background — a felt sense of how long things take and how much has passed. A lot of ADHD brains just... don't. Time isn't a smooth line you can feel moving; it's now and not now, with a fog in between. So a deadline two weeks out feels like fiction right up until it's on fire. This is why "I'll remember" and "I've got loads of time" betray you so reliably. You're not careless. You're navigating without the instrument everyone assumes you have. The fix is never "try harder to feel time" — it's to put time outside your head where you can see it (timers, alarms, calendars that nag). Externalise the broken instrument. ➡️Honest question: what has time blindness actually cost you — a train, a deadline, a reputation you didn't deserve? Say it out loud here. No judgement in this room — we've all missed the thing.
