Where I've Been (And Where We're Going)
Hey everyone — I want to fill you in on what's been happening and a shift in direction for this community. For about a decade, I've been cycling through marketing tools: ActiveCampaign, MailChimp, High Level, N8N, Zapier, Calendly... the list goes on. Each one eventually frustrated me enough that I dropped it. (I'm still on High Level, but that relationship is... strained.) These are legitimately hard problems to solve, and I don't fault anyone for not getting it perfect. But the frustration kept piling up. About a month ago, something clicked: I have the skills to build exactly what I want. With some AI coding assistance, I can actually create my own marketing toolbox — tools I'd genuinely love using. So that's what I've been doing. For the past month, I've spent roughly 10 hours a day on this: developing the plan, making key architectural decisions, designing the initial UI/UX (about 2 weeks ago), and just last week I started building the actual framework. I'm also restructuring how I earn income to make this sustainable. Starting in the new year, I'm taking on a sales role with a specific goal: dedicate 2 weeks to sales, then use the other 2 weeks each month for development. What this means for YDTB: This community is shifting. Moving forward, I'll be posting status updates, sharing tutorials, and showcasing progress as I build this thing out in the open. But more than that — I want this to be a two-way conversation. This is your space to provide feedback, share ideas, and help shape what this toolbox becomes. If you see something that could be better, or you've got a feature idea that would solve a problem you've been dealing with, I want to hear it. Your input will directly influence what gets built. A question for you: As you know, we have a free tier and a monthly contribution tier. The free community will always get updates on progress. But I'd love to hear from you — what would make a monthly contribution feel worth it to you? Early access to tools? Behind-the-scenes breakdowns? Direct input on the roadmap? Something else entirely?

I think @Paulo Costa has some good points. Maybe take in comments about how what you are already planning to do can incorporate (now or as an added module later) what some people may suggest? Maybe some of your members can be Alpha or Beta testers? Maybe an ongoing list of different needs for different industries? Adaptation and additions to what you are doing? If you opened it up to everyone, it would probably get too big and messy to deal with.
[START HERE] - Welcome To Your Digital Toolbox Community!
We are excited to have you here! Your First Mission (Should you choose to accept it) is to introduce yourself to the community below! That should enable you to reach Level 2. You earn points by having other people like your comments. **When you get to level 2, you unlock your complimentary Go High Level Account.** This isn't the time to sit on the sidelines; it's time to dive in and take some action. Here's how to do it: ===== INTRODUCE YOURSELF ===== 1. Scroll down to the comment area and type an introduction to yourself. 2. Comment on three people's introductions. 3. Like 2 people's comments. If we do this right, then everyone can make it to Level 2 easily. Share a little bit about yourself and answer these questions: - Who are you? - What are you trying to sell? (Avoid Overt Pitches Please) - What has stood in your way of success? - Share an interesting, random, or noteworthy fact about yourself. PRO TIP: As you interact, you'll earn additional points, which will unlock the ability to post and DM other members, as well as potentially unlock additional courses. Share - provide valuable support and climb the leaderboard. You will get one point for every time someone else likes or comments on your post or comment. Your Perks will unlock when you get to Level 2. =============== AT LEVEL 2 ================== Visit the classroom to access all your perks ( Go High Level Account & Classes ). Schedule your 1-on-1 Onboarding meeting with me, where we will get to know each other. Please remember to bring your business information with you so we can get everything set up during the first call. If you want to set up a business phone number for SMS or process payments, you will need to have your Business Name, Business Address, and EIN.

How To connect Google Analytics to your skool group.
I had a great meeting with @Shannon Boyer where I learned about her business and what she's doing with her two communities. She's doing awesome! My homework from that meeting is to make a video on how to connect google analytics to your skool account and how to understand what is happening. Thanks for that video idea!

That would be a good one. I'd like to also see if there are analytics to see if we are getting people from LinkedIn. I'm going to put more effort into getting members from there. Does the google analytics also include people coming from YouTube?
