Roast my offer for a drawing audit
This offer is niche towards the people that I am trying to reach, but if I could get some help on the structure or building this out better, I would appreciate it. ----------------------- Drawing Audit A Drawing Audit with me will help you develop better drawings. How does it work? You send me your drawings in PDF form. Something that you’re working on or trying to develop. I’ll review the drawings, mark them up with items that I see could use some improvements, solve some sticking points for you, or something else that you are having problems with. After this review, I’ll send these markups back to you along with a video discussing what I see along with some ideas of how the drawings can be improved. The types of drawings that we can work on: Architectural design development Interior design development Kitchen design development Millwork and cabinet engineering, detailing, and design development Book a call to get started. https://calendly.com/aecdesign/30min Submit your file here

@Rudy Rodulfo @Dave Hughes I made some tweaks if you don't mind taking another look at it. ---------------- Architectural Drawings Schematic Review Expert reviews and markups for architects, interior designers, and millworkers. Have you ever released a set of drawings for building review and pricing only to be embarrassed and have it come back to you with a stack of questions that you left hanging? Have you lost clients because of this? I’ve been there and done that, more times than I want to admit to. That’s why I started spending more time reviewing my drawings before I released them. A page by page review helped me avoid that embarrassment and keep clients. I can help you avoid that embarrassment and keep your clients. How does it work? You send me your drawings in PDF form. I’ll do a page by page review of the drawings, looking for layout development, drawing clarity, and constructability issues. I’ll mark them up to highlight items that I see could use some adjustments. After this review, I’ll send these markups back to you along with a video discussing what I see along with some ideas of how my notes can be implemented in these drawings and future drawings that you do. The types of drawings that we can work on: Architectural design development Interior design development Kitchen design development Millwork and cabinet engineering, detailing, and design development Don’t wait until these mistakes start costing you money, take advantage of the early bird pricing of $47 Submit your file here
Hey hi
Little personal news: I'm moving to a different state. I've been living at a different state than my family for the past 4 years. Now im moving back to be closer to them for 2 reasons: - Raising a child away from family support is super hard. - We got our own apartment there, so that means no more rent. Just a small debt for a quick 30 years, it will go by fast. So I'm not giving up on this place. Just too busy trying to box everything, sell some stuff, find a painter to deliver our rented house and other moving arrangements. I'll be back to the old rhythm in a couple of weeks hopefully with better support for everything and more time to work on my projects and give all of you the roastings you're looking for.

Roast my community idea - business book review club
So I robbed this idea from a podcast. The community is about reviewing business books. Not so much a book club, but a study club of reviewing a business book and then helping the community members apply to ideas to the business. The members don't have to purchase the book to be a part of it. Live video and then access to the owner or each other through the community. One book per month. One business theme per month. Books are selected by member vote. You monetize it by charging to be part of the community. You can probably charge a pretty decent fee if you can show results and increased revenue for your members. It could be a low effort add on community for someone who is already a business coach or has a history of helping others build successful businesses.

This is where I "borrowed" the idea from https://www.theinnerwork.co.uk/bookclub

@Dave Hughes I agree on the point that this really hinges on the owner and their credibility. Overall I think something like this might be better than the seemingly hundreds of business coach gurus that are on skool now.

How do you like to learn? [poll Monday]
So I'm working on some different things for my community to help learn some concepts. I know that people learn differently, but I was curious if there is an over arcing way that people learn concepts. My community is about doing drawings for buildings. Architectural drawings. My goal is to train people that do these kinds of drawings to niche down and do millwork drawings, so it's really graphical content. Please review and let me know how you like to learn new concepts.

@Paulo Costa, The Roaster I'm a little the same way. I'd like to be able to scan something to review what I'm trying to do. With videos I sometimes just want to skip ahead and get to the point of what I'm trying to figure out rather than watch the entire video. I understand that's me, but other people seem to be fine with the pace and are learning their way.

@Dave Hughes for me personally, I don't need that. I'm not concerned about the person instructing the video. But, I understand that this is helpful for people to make a personal connection and build trust. They want to see that there is a person on the other side of the camera. So I think it is an important part of the video to have.
