What if AI could learn how your brain works?
What if AI could learn how your brain works? Not in a creepy way. In a deeply productive, time-saving, brilliance-multiplying way. U in my AI with Soul methodology stands for Understanding. AI learns how you think. Most people use AI as a one-time transaction. Ask a question, get an answer, move on. But the most powerful version of AI is one that has been trained over time to understand your patterns, your decision-making process, and even your blind spots. I use AI as my thinking partner. When I am working through a strategy, I do not just ask for an answer. I share my thinking out loud and ask AI to help me pressure test it, expand it, or find the gaps. Research shows that knowledge workers who use AI as a thinking partner rather than a task executor report up to 40 percent improvement in decision quality and speed. YOUR PROMPT FOR TODAY 👉 COPY THIS PROMPT: "I want to use you as my thinking partner, not just a task tool. Here is how I need you to work with me: When I share a decision or challenge, do not immediately give me answers. Instead, first ask me clarifying questions to understand my reasoning. Then reflect back what you heard. Then offer 2 to 3 perspectives I may not have considered. Finally ask me: based on all of this, what feels most aligned for me? The challenge I am working through right now is: [describe your current decision or challenge]" This is AI at its most powerful. Not answering for you. Thinking WITH you.

Are you using AI like google? Or are directing it?
Are you using AI like google? Or are directing it? There is a difference between being a passenger in a car and being the driver. Most people are passengers when it comes to AI. They get in, hope the tool takes them somewhere useful, and then they end up somewhere even more confusing. O in my AI with Soul methodology stands for Orchestration. Direct AI like a team. The best leaders do not do everything themselves. They assign the right task to the right person with clear enough direction that the outcome reflects their vision. That is exactly how you should be using AI. Organizations that DO NOT train their people to orchestrate AI spend 40 percent more time on tasks that AI could handle in minutes. The key is to orchestrate your AI tools. This will also make automation so much easier. YOUR PROMPT FOR TODAY COPY THIS PROMPT: "I need you to act as my Chief of Staff. I am going to describe a task I need done. Before you start, ask me these four questions: 1) What is the goal of this task? 2) Who is the audience? 3) What tone should this take? 4) What format do you want the final output in? After I answer all four, complete the task using exactly what I told you. The task I need done is: [describe your task here]" That structure alone will transform your outputs. Use it for every single thing you create with AI from today forward.

AI cannot find your voice if you have never shown it who you are.
AI cannot find your voice if you have never shown it who you are. I work with educators, business owners, and organizational leaders every day. And the number one complaint I hear is the AI output just does not sound like me. That is not an AI problem. Studies show that professionals spend an average of 3 to 5 hours per week editing and rewriting AI content because it misses their tone. That is time you are not getting back. The fix is what I call a Self Brief. Think of it like an onboarding document for AI. It includes your communication style, your values, your audience, your story, and even the words you would never say. When I built mine, my AI outputs went from generic to immediately recognizable as Sterling. Not because the tool changed. Because I showed up in it. YOUR PROMPT FOR TODAY 👉 COPY THIS PROMPT: "I am going to give you writing samples from my actual work so you can learn how I sound. After I paste them, I want you to: 1) Identify 5 specific patterns in how I communicate, 2) List 5 words or phrases I use that feel distinctly like me, 3) List 5 words or phrases I clearly avoid, 4) Describe my tone in 3 adjectives, 5) Write a one-paragraph Style Guide I can paste my tool instructions to inform every future conversation with you. Here are my writing samples: [paste 3 to 5 emails, captions, or paragraphs you have written]" This is the Self Brief. It takes 10 minutes. It saves you hours every single week.

Most people are using AI wrong. And it starts before they type a single word.
Most people are using AI wrong. And it starts before they type a single word. Here is the real problem. When you open ChatGPT or any AI tool and just start asking questions, you are getting generic answers. Not because the tool is bad. Because the tool does not know who YOU are. That is the cognitive leak. You are pouring time and energy into a tool that has no context of your voice, your values, your lived experience, or your genius. So it gives you everybody's answer instead of yours. The fix? Start with S. In my AI with Soul methodology, S stands for Self. Your voice. Your experience. Your story. Before you build a system or automate a single thing, you have to train AI to think WITH you, not just for you. This is where most consultants, educators, and business owners lose hours every week. They keep rewriting AI outputs that feel off because they never told AI who they were in the first place. YOUR PROMPT FOR TODAY 👉 COPY THIS PROMPT: "I want to learn how to use AI in a way that sounds like ME. Before we do anything else, I need you to help me define my communication style. Please ask me 10 questions one at a time that will help you understand my voice, my values, the audience I serve, and how I naturally communicate. After I answer all 10, summarize what you learned about my communication style in a paragraph. Then tell me exactly where to save it — if you are using ChatGPT or Perplexity, save it in your Custom Instructions. If you are using Claude, save it as a system prompt, another AI tool, save it as a note you paste at the top of every new conversation. This summary is your AI foundation and every result you get from here forward will be better because of it." That one prompt starts everything. Try it today and drop a comment telling me what surprised you about your own style. Save this post. Share it with someone who is frustrated with AI results. Day 2 drops tomorrow.

This is the real shift
AI is not about doing more. It’s about becoming someone who: – thinks in systems – builds once and reuses – stops carrying everything mentally That’s the shift. Where do you feel the most overwhelmed right now?
