Using AI to be more effective with time spent on administrative tasks
I have recently joint a new business and am wandering what AI tools out there besides chat GPT, Claud and Co-pilot that people are using to improve their effectiveness with analysing reporting, note taking and driving improvement? Working in store operations I am looking at Plaud Pro note, to assist with capturing notes when touring stores and being able to easily access those notes without stopping to write is something that will free up time to be more effective on the shop floors with my team. What tools are you using or do you know of that you find beneficial and would recommend?

@Sean Barry 100% agree Sean, being able to effectively capture key observations, coaching moments, and follow up actions will be very handy without having to stop and hand write those notes. And being able to easily pull up notes for review. What else have you been researching on AI, would love to hear what else you have learnt.

@Sean Barry that sounds amazing, can’t wait to see that book available to read!! So far my biggest win with AI would have to be how quickly I have been able to move into a new business and utilise AI to set up some meaningful report summaries at pace to know where to fish for quick wins vs longer term. This has given me the ability to focus on connecting with teams, get some quick wins across some low hanging fruits while building a long term plan.
Are You Teachable?
One of the biggest things that determines success in leadership, business, and life is not talent. It’s coachability. The people who grow the fastest are usually the people who: • Stay humble • Ask questions • Accept feedback • Own mistakes • Keep learning • Show up with the right attitude Because the truth is: Skills can be taught. Systems can be taught. Processes can be taught. But attitude? That’s much harder to teach. This is why great leaders hire for attitude first and then coach the skill. A positive attitude combined with a willingness to learn creates massive growth over time. That’s also why many organisations are now placing more value on: • Emotional intelligence • Communication • Adaptability • Leadership behaviours • Coachability A qualification may help open the door. But your mindset determines how far you go. So here’s today’s challenge: What is one area of your life where you need to become more teachable?

100% agree @Sean Barry! I’m transitioning into a new role and business and being vulnerable is critical, no matter how long we have been in a position or a company we always have opportunity for growth. Even as a parent, with two young kids, taking time to teach and be taught is critical regardless of our age or experience!
