Hi everyone, I am just about to return to Australia (Byron Basy - Gold Coast) after being in the UK for 2 years. I have self-published 3 books and am looking to spend more time as a writer .. Looking forward to learning and connecting ..
Welcome back to the Southern Hemisphere, Adrian @Adrian Hanks 3 books under your belt is impressive. Are you planning on sticking with the same genre for the next project, or are you looking to try something new now that you're back home?
What stage are you in right now? • Writing the first draft • Editing the manuscript • Preparing to publish • Already published Let’s connect with fellow authors 👇
@Adrian Hanks That’s a huge milestone, Adrian🚀 The transition from 'editor mode' to 'marketing mode' is where the real fun starts. Are you planning on building out a specific landing page or funnel for the launch?
Building the bridge that carries readers to the checkout page. Authors, your funnel is that bridge. 🌉📚 https://substack.com/@dquartzz/note/c-226158575?r=ai460

There’s something different about holding a book that’s actually working. This one has been getting results, and moments like this remind me why I treat publishing as a long term game. Authors how does it feel the first time you hold your own book?
That’s a beautiful milestone, Tikiri @Tikiri Herath There’s truly nothing like seeing the "long term game" turn into a physical reality. As for me, I’m still in the "digital-only" club, holding my book usually involves me gripping my Kindle and shaking it slightly while whispering, "I made this." It's a lot less cinematic, and the "new book smell" is mostly just warm lithium battery 😂 Huge congrats on the success and the beautiful physical copy 👏
