🚀 CalSync 1.7.0 is Here
Your pen can now complete tasks. Big one today. This is the release I've been teasing. Task Markup Connect Todoist and your tasks print right on your planner's Top Three and Tasks lists (Clarity day style). Check a task with your pen and CalSync completes it in Todoist on the next sync, prints the check, and strikes the title so the page agrees with your marks. Draw an X to dismiss a task on the planner without touching it in Todoist. A dash moves its due date forward a day. Your handwriting is read exactly where it sits on the page, and a mark is never acted on twice. Pen reading works today on planners connected through reMarkable Cloud, with more connections on the way. Tasks land on the right day A task with a due date prints on that day's page. An overdue task moves to today and shows struck through on the day it left. A finished task prints checked on the day you completed it, in your planner's own time zone. Past pages keep their record, so yesterday's page still shows what happened yesterday. Also in 1.7.0 • Todo Lists joins Settings: sign in to Todoist once, then map each project to the planner list where it belongs. Microsoft To Do, Google Tasks and Apple Reminders are next in line. • Task sync that survives a bad connection: if your task service is briefly unreachable, planners keep printing the last known tasks instead of blank lists. • Your plan name reads right everywhere, plus a stack of smaller reliability fixes. How to get it The easiest way is to open CalSync and let it update itself. 1.7.0 for Linux still listed as 1.6.1. I'm definitely clicking on the 1.7.0 app.

I second that request. I'm moving from Gmail/Google Calendar to Proton Mail/Calendar
🚀 CalSync 1.6.0 is here!
This is our biggest CalSync release yet. Introducing eP Cloud—a new way to keep your planner up to date without leaving your computer running. To here an audio walkthrough of the new feature: https://www.einkpads.io/learn/calsync/ep-cloud-sync What’s new eP Cloud: planner sync without your computer Pro and Business users can now hand a planner over to eP Cloud. Our servers rebuild it with your latest calendar events and deliver it directly to your reMarkable or Supernote, so your computer can stay off. Getting started is simple: * Sign in at epcalsync.com using a one-time code sent to your email. * Turn on eP Cloud for a planner. * Pair your tablet once. * Push fresh events from anywhere. Every planner now includes a QR code that opens its push page on your phone. Just scan it, tap Push, and your planner is updated. eP Cloud supports: * Google Calendar * Microsoft Outlook * Apple iCloud * CalDAV * Existing calendar links Planners are updated in place, so your handwriting stays exactly where you wrote it. Pro includes 1 cloud planner, and Business includes 5 cloud planners. Cloud deliveries in Activity Activity now shows everything delivered through eP Cloud alongside your local syncs. If something goes wrong, you’ll see the reason clearly explained. Automatic planner refresh On Pro and Business, the planner list now refreshes automatically when changes are made from another device or through eP Cloud. Cloud-managed planners are identified with an eP Cloud badge, and you’ll see when the list was last refreshed. Auto Push control for each planner Each planner now has its own Skip switch, allowing you to exclude individual planners from automatic pushes. The status is shown clearly so you always know which planners update automatically. Built-in calendar feed checker You can now verify a calendar before relying on it. Select Diagnose on any connected calendar or use Check a calendar feed under your plan to fetch the calendar immediately and see exactly what was returned when events appear to be missing.

Guess what!? I can repeat the bug. I downloaded 1.6.0. Unzipped. Ran the install. Opened CalSync and it offered me the 1.6.0 upgrade and listed the current version as 1.5.3. @Jason Smith is it possible this did upgrade to 1.6.0 but thinks it's 1.5.3?

@Mark Zuckerman Make sure you are logged into my.remarkable.com BEFORE requesting the code. Then you'll be taken directly to the page with the code. I had the same problem at first. You can request the code again.
Error in the message after updating to 1.5.3 under Linux
I currently run 1.5.2 and it tells me that 1.5.3 is available. Great ! I click to update, however, once it seems to be completed, I get a message talking extracting the ZIP and running CalSync.exe. I guess this should be changed to reflect Linux. Also, I now understand this is only a download, that I still have to extract the files and run the program. AFAIK, this is not an update, just a download of a new version that still needs to be extracted to properly run. Also, where is the downloaded file, for a Linux user ? Under ~/Downloads, or elsewhere ?

I solved the Pin to Panel issue. I Left Click on the green Menu, bottom left of the screen. Select All Applications. Find CalSync and right click, add to panel. CalSync now launches from the panel.

Good point about moving the directory. I'll do that with the 1.6 release. Thanks. Right click on the App in the CalSync folder just moves it to the upper left of the folder. I can't pin to panel from there. I have to right click CalSync in the Menu to pin to panel. That may be normal Mint Linux behavior. I'm still somewhat new to this OS so some of my Windows habits remain.
All-Day / multiple days events from Google Calendar
I have connected to my Google Calendar through the ICS feed, and I have some all-day events or events taht are over multiple days and those do not seem to sync. I am using the cloud option to access my reMarkable content.
