🚨National Snow Storm: Church Opportunity
Today is a perfect example of why your church’s digital presence is vital. Having a website, focusing on SEO, posting on social, cultivating a YouTube channel They’re not only cool, but optimizing these channels allows for more impact and more visibility They expose you to more potential members and allows you to engage with your people where they already spend 90% of their time — ONLINE

@TrVera Williams I will get a training together on this!
Reminder for Church Tomorrow ⛪️
Too many issues start from lack of data tracking. Please make sure you have a way to connect with new members and then call them on Tuesday. I have worked too many churches that don’t put effort into actively harvesting visitor and member contact info.

Hi @Antonio Owens! Glad you are here! And definitely understand the struggle there. Interested in how the 2 work together?
Here's what not to say about Money on Superbowl Sunday at Church
In honor of Super Bowl Sunday… Here are things pastors should probably NOT say from the pulpit this weekend (especially if you care about generosity): 1) “We know nobody wants to be here today…” (You just told every guest and volunteer their presence doesn’t matter.) 2) “We’ll keep this short so you can get to the game.” You just positioned worship as the interruption and football as the main event. 3) “Don’t worry — we won’t talk about money today.” You just taught your church that money conversations are something to apologize for. 4) “We almost cancelled service because of the Super Bowl.” You unintentionally told people gathering before God is optional when culture schedules something better. 5) “If you give today, God might help your team win.” (This should be obvious..) Now generosity sounds like superstition instead of discipleship. People shouldn't give to your church because they feel obligated. People give when they understand what they’re building. Super Bowl Sunday actually gives you a free illustration: Nobody apologizes for buying tickets, jerseys, or tailgating… because they believe in the team. Generosity isn’t about pressure. It’s about clarity. If your church clearly shows the mission, the life change, and the future — giving stops feeling like a collection and starts feeling like participation.
