I have read some makers say they will give a free upgrade so they are not losing money like a braid, lights, cutouts, etc. I have also seen multiple seasoned makers offering deep discounts to everyone in the last month.

Find a way to take orders that minimizes contact with customers like a detailed order form for example. Talking to customers slows down productivity.

My mum business is a sole proprietorship, but I do have a LLC for another business. My understanding is LLC protects your personal assets from business liability as long as you have kept the 2 separate. LLC's also require more reporting than a sole proprietorship. No one comes into my home for the mums. I meet them outside for pickup so I did not see the need for the additional requirements of a LLC.
