@Kimberly Armatys Yay!!!
Trust Is Actually A Business Problem
Having confidence and clarity are a product of trust. Repetitions of tuning into your intuition, power and voice to make decisions builds this over time (not surprising, our brains like proof and will reinforce it🤯). You do this hundreds of times each day. But over the years, our self trust often erodes because of people pleasing, saying yes when you want to say no, hiding, avoiding, overcompensating and being who others' want us to be (underneath that is typically fear). And here's a truth most entrepreneurs and business owners don't want to hear: 💥 Business problems are often downstream of the trust problem.💥 Turning this around starts with honesty. Vote on where is this impacting you and/or your business the most (be honest 😉) 👇🏼

@Sonja F Bey i've always been interested and what makes us take, but especially human behavior, psychology, and neuroscience. It's been like this since I was a little kid and probably will remain till the day I leave this beautiful earth. 🤗

@Sonja F Bey Also, and medical and scientific models we try to separate the mind, body, and spirit, but you can't because it's all connected and the Science is finally starting to reflect that. I've never needed that validation because I've always believed but it is helpful now that we live in an age where people love to throw out the phrase, "follow the science." 😉
Welcome! So glad you're here.😊💖

@Kimberly Morris It is!! I can identify that people have a different Siuthern accents but I have no idea what regions they're from. I know Midwestern accents because I've lived in so many of those states. I also know Canadian (which sounds very close to some upper Midwestern states) because of my hubby's family.

What's something your younger self would be totally be embarrassed by that your current self could care less about???

@Sonja F Bey Me too. I did it for far too long. But it's a gift that we have the awareness and stopped that stuff!!

@Sonja F Bey This! All of this can be such a gift when we choose to see it and allow ourselves to receive. Especially the self love. 💜
When You No Longer Feel Like YOU
A virtual colleague of my recently shared an experience she had I've heard all too often by women in the midst of midlife transitions. The floodgates open and tears streamed down her face as she heard someone say, “you know it’s that moment when you no longer feel like yourself”. 😭😭 She went on to say, "I didn’t even know who I was anymore, much less what normal felt like. Perimenopause made me question everything and has been one of the most humbling experiences of my life." I was so glad she was honest and raw, mentioning the part that women really don't speak about out loud. 💜 "I don't feel like myself" or "I don't know who I am anymore" are 2 of the most common things I hear from the women, especially business owners, I work with diving into the mental and emotional aspects of this transition. The more we normalize this and let women know there is support, resources and they aren't alone, the faster we can change the narrative on perimenopause, menopause and midlife. 💥‼️ This is a time for us to let go of what isn't serving us, allow the space and grace for evolving, and expand into who we really are in this chapter of life. I had tears in my eyes reading her share because I've been there too. Perimenopause and menopause shift things in ways we could've never imagined. It doesn't have to be the way the media and society like to portray. It can be the beginning of the rest and best time of your life (or as I like to say, "I'm rocking the back half" 💃🏼💃🏼💃🏼 ). If you're in this season of life or went through it already, what advice would you give another woman about the journey and how it relates to her business? 👇🏼

My advice would be to reach out for help sooner than later, whether it's addressing your physical needs or the mental and emotional aspect, because it will effect your business if you don't. I thought I could do it all alone because "I knew" and I was trained in all of it- the hormones, the biochemistry, and all of the emotional and mental aspects. I made a mistakes and ignored it until I couldn't. I was missing a couple of days a month because of debilitating migraines and vomiting OR I got on calls feeling that way which was horrific. Running to the bathroom in between clients isn't something I recommend! Then I'd get behind on work which made me irritable toward my family. No bueno! I was holding on to so much more than I thought. And I needed help. I realized I was SO wrong about going it alone. I needed others to hold the space for me and walk with me through that season. It also gives me so much empathy and insight for the women I work with because I've been there too. 💖
