No Call Tonight & Micro Discipline Check In
Hey guys, tonight’s call is canceled. I’m traveling in upstate New York right now and the service isn’t reliable enough to hop on a call. Micro Discipline folks, we’ll still meet Sunday at 1 PM Central. If you’re going through Micro Discipline right now, drop a comment below and let us know what you’re feeling in your first week and how things are going. I’d love to hear it. Can’t wait to see the cohort on Sunday Aug 2nd, and everyone else next Thursday, August 6th. Call links are in the calendar tab at the top of the community; tap them to add to your personal calendars. Mush Love. Talk soon. 🍄

I’m tempted to postpone the start because I have not been consistent with journaling. However, I sat with my “why”, and that helped me to be more aware of almost everything around me. I feel more awake and connected.
Micro Discipline is officially live - enrollment link below. Closes Friday July 24th.
Hey Fungitarian Fam! As most of you know I've been sitting on this course for a while now, and I'm genuinely excited it's finally here. Enrollment closes this Friday, so if you've been on the fence, this is the moment to decide. Here's a little bit about why I built this. I've been coaching people for fifteen years and working with mushrooms for eight of those years. Somewhere in there, I kept running into the same problem. People wanted to work with this medicine, but nobody was giving them an actual system. Just a dose and a hope. I wanted to build something different: a real practice you can actually stick with, not just a one-off experience you forget about a week later. That's exactly what Micro Discipline is. Four weeks, one structure, and a routine that actually sticks. Here's what the four weeks look like: Week 1 is the foundation. No dosing yet. We slow down and cover what psilocybin actually is, how to prepare your body and your space, and why food, movement, and awareness have to come before anything else. This week is about building the container before you ever put anything in it. Week 2 is the system. This is where your first dose happens. We build your actual protocol together, your sourcing, your dosing schedule, plus the sound and tracking practices that shape how the whole thing lands. Week 3 is the deep work. You're in your protocol now, so we go further. This is where we work through the emotional inventory and the integration practice I teach every single client: write, walk, connect, every dose day, no exceptions. Week 4 is the new identity. We build your 90 day plan and lock the daily practice in for good, because the whole point was never the dose itself. It's who you become in the space it opens up for you. A couple of housekeeping notes. If you need product, I've got resources to help you get it. If you already have your own, that works too. This is about the practice, not about where your mushrooms come from. As long as you know what you are taking.

@John James Staniszewski yes, I got that. Thank you. I’ll be going through the week 1 workbook today and most likely have some questions I’ll post, if I can’t find any answers here. I want to get the most out of this experience.

I have not used discord yet. Do we need an invite to the group/chat? Or do I just look it up once I download the app?
Ceremony
Curious about this: my husband has done probably 3-4 ceremonies with me. He barely gets anything out of it. I will go on a deep journey. He will have some visuals at best, maybe some deeper feelings at the last one we did, where he took a bit over 6 grams. My thoughts- his metabolism just burns through it or he’s not open enough subconsciously to let the medicine do its thing. He’s the kindest person but he’s guarded. Not so much with me anymore. But in general. He’s also an ultra runner and a lean machine. That man turns cookies into muscle and I’m not even joking. Either one is a possibility or a combination of both. I really would like him to do the protocol with me but am wondering if it’ll make a difference for him.

@John James Staniszewski thank you. This makes a lot of sense to me. I invited him to do the micro-protocol with me. He is considering it but the "why" is already bringing up walls for him. Maybe it's because he wants to do it for/with me, and it's not fully coming from him. Maybe he's not ready yet. I think what pulls him back is him "expecting" to have some great revelation from ceremony, and it just hasn't happened. Subconsciously putting himself under pressure. The choice is entirely his, and it might be good for him to just be there while I am doing this. I have to say, though, the "why" is not easy to answer for me either. But the digging is worth it.

@John James Staniszewski in regards to the lemon- this is for ceremony? Not for micro-dosing, correct? And we did use various strains and amounts of mushrooms. It's just fascinating what ceremony can do. It's been so incredible for me, and now I am even more excited because I have finally found the integration part I had been mssing, or fumbling around with.
Week One Micro Discipline course: noticing
Noticing my breath when I go to sleep and when I first wake up are little things in the first week curriculum that are easy and impactful. Lately I’ve been sleeping out on my new deck. Cool mountain air, comfy sleeping bag, the dogs snoring next to me. It’s pretty great. This was the view last night from my sleep porch. The surroundings amplify the practice of just noticing how I feel right before I doze off. Sweet dreams

Snoring dogs (and cats) are the best!
