A challenge for you...
If you've just joined, write your name in the comments below and tell me the following; 1. Why are you learning English? 2. What is one thing that you find difficult about learning English? 3. What is one thing you enjoy doing in English? (If you can't think of one, that's okay!)

Hello my name is Steffi. 1. Iโ€™m learning English because I want to understand everything, when Iโ€™m reading or watching a movie. I like to speak fluent and communicate with other people. 2. The worst thing for me is, that words took a different meaning in context- thatโ€™s really frustrating. 3. I like the sound of the language and itโ€™s a dream to become a fluent speaker, but honestly Iโ€™m too shy to speak (โ€ฆat the moment โ˜บ๏ธ) maybe because I have teen daughters who told me that my English is badโ€ฆ.
Have you ever seen Doctor Who?
Doctor Who is a very famous TV show in the UK. You can find it on BBC iPlayer and watch it for free if you are based in the UK, but you may have to be a bit more creative about how you access it if you are outside of the UK, like me. It's about a mysterious man in a blue police telephone box who travels through time and space, chasing away scary monsters and robots and aliens. It's very cool. It also has a very recognisable and EERIE theme tune, which was made by a lady called Delia Derbyshire. Please watch the video and let me know if you have heard of Doctor Who before!
