📩 How do you avoid the spam folder?
One of the biggest challenges in email marketing is not only writing a good message, but making sure it actually reaches the inbox. There are many things that can affect deliverability: ✅ clean email lists ✅ verified addresses ✅ avoiding spammy words or aggressive formatting ✅ proper sender authentication ✅ reasonable sending volume ✅ good bounce handling ✅ people opening and engaging with your emails But every business, list, and sending setup is different. So I’d like to ask the community: 👉 What do you personally do to avoid the spam folder? 👉 Have you found any strategy that really improved your deliverability? 👉 Do you use any tools, checks, or habits before sending a campaign? Share your experience below. Your tips may help other members send better campaigns and get better results. 🚀

👋 Welcome, glad you’re here!
Welcome to Send Better Emails in 7 Days! 👋 I’m Stan, founder of Maxprog and creator of MaxBulk Mailer. I have been building email marketing software for more than 25 years, and I created this group for people who want to improve their email marketing in a practical, simple, and independent way. Here we focus on: 📩 writing better email campaigns 🧹 cleaning and improving your mailing lists 🚀 avoiding deliverability mistakes ✍️ creating clearer messages and stronger calls to action ⚙️ building simple workflows that actually make sense The goal is simple: help you send better emails, avoid common mistakes, improve your results, and stay in control of your marketing without depending blindly on expensive platforms or complicated systems. No hype. No spam tricks. No theory overload. Just practical email marketing, real experience, and useful discussions you can apply. Glad to have you here! 🙌

Thank you, and I really like how you put it. 🙌 Yes, that is exactly one of the ideas behind this community: creating a more direct and meaningful way to communicate, share ideas, and discuss practical alternatives. Independence from cloud services, subscriptions, and platforms we don’t fully control is becoming increasingly important. I’m really looking forward to those discussions too. Great to have you here!

The next update should have been released last April. I am late. It is almost finished, though.

That sounds like a great combination — live comedy plus Italian food is very easy to understand and promote. 👍 Since you already have MaxBulk Mailer and MLM working well, I would focus the message on the local experience, not just the event itself: “A fun night out in Old Town Pasadena: live comedy, good Italian food, and a relaxed crowd.” For the audience, I would segment as much as possible: People in or near Pasadena, Altadena, South Pasadena, Glendale, San Marino, Arcadia, etc. Age 35+ is a good angle, but I would not make the campaign feel “for older people.” I would position it more as: “A smart, fun night out for adults who enjoy good food and live entertainment.” A few practical ideas I got from ChatGPT: 1. Use a very local subject line, something like: “Live comedy night in Old Town Pasadena” or “Dinner + comedy in Pasadena this week”. 2. Mention the food early. Italian food is a strong hook. Many people may react more to “dinner and comedy” than to “comedy show.” 3. Create urgency. Use phrases like: “Limited seating, “Reserve your table”, “This Friday night”, or “Bring a friend.” 4. Send at least two emails: one announcement email, then a reminder closer to the event. For local events, timing matters a lot. 5. Make the call-to-action very clear. One main button or link: Reserve your seat / Get tickets / See event details Also, if you have past attendees, restaurants, local business contacts, or people who clicked on previous entertainment-related emails, I would send them first. That group will probably perform better than a broad cold list. Sounds like a fun campaign — and a perfect use case for MaxBulk Mailer.
