As a GenXer latch-key kid, the thought of oversharing literally makes me want to throw up a little bit. It’s just not built into my DNA. So why am I writing this? (Well, first of all, because my business coach told me to.😳) AND because I want to connect these dots so you understand WHY I built SCALE WITHOUT HIRING the way I did. 𝗦𝗼 𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗲’𝘀 𝘄𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗶𝘀 𝗶𝗻 𝗺𝘆 𝗗𝗡𝗔... - A shitton of anxiety. ADHD. - Childhood trauma from fucked-up divorced parents. - All the stuff I really don’t love shining a light on... (But I’m doing it anyway because it matters.) Here’s what I’ve learned after more than 25 years in business: Simple systems alleviate the chaos and overwhelm of an anxiety brain. Simple systems make a bouncy-ADHD brain able to follow a clear, straight path ~ instead of the windy clusterfuck our brains normally want to take us on. After I graduated high school (by the skin of my teeth), I studied small business management and project management. I’ve worked in media production, managing large-scale on-location video shoots and post-production editing. I’ve produced large-scale in-person events for authors like Marianne Williamson. (Yes, I was her executive assistant for a year... that’s another story for another time.) And I’ve managed marketing and coding teams in tech companies. Every single career choice taught me the same lesson: If the system is complicated, no one can or will follow it. Myself included. So I got really, REALLY good at identifying the simplest path to a system that works. Systems that help you get rid of the chaos and overwhelm. Systems that work even when ADHD is NOT your superpower that day. And then AI happened. And let me tell you ~ AI makes all the systems so much easier... BUT ONLY WHEN YOU FOCUS ON KEEPING IT SIMPLE. (𝙈𝙤𝙨𝙩 𝙥𝙚𝙤𝙥𝙡𝙚 𝙖𝙧𝙚 𝙤𝙫𝙚𝙧-𝙚𝙣𝙜𝙞𝙣𝙚𝙚𝙧𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙬𝙞𝙩𝙝 𝘼𝙄 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙢𝙖𝙠𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙩𝙝𝙞𝙣𝙜𝙨 𝙢𝙤𝙧𝙚 𝙘𝙤𝙢𝙥𝙡𝙞𝙘𝙖𝙩𝙚𝙙 𝙩𝙝𝙖𝙣 𝙩𝙝𝙚𝙮 𝙝𝙖𝙫𝙚 𝙩𝙤 𝙗𝙚 𝙗𝙚𝙘𝙖𝙪𝙨𝙚 𝙩𝙝𝙚𝙮 𝙙𝙤𝙣’𝙩 𝙪𝙣𝙙𝙚𝙧𝙨𝙩𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙝𝙤𝙬 𝙩𝙤 𝙗𝙪𝙞𝙡𝙙 𝙨𝙞𝙢𝙥𝙡𝙚 𝙨𝙮𝙨𝙩𝙚𝙢𝙨.) But not me. When you combine simple systems with the power of AI, every solopreneur can run their business like an AI-Smart CEO.
