Litha Tarot Spread
The Zenith Gate A Litha spread for standing at the threshold of fullness Litha, the Summer Solstice, marks the longest day and shortest night of the year in the Northern Hemisphere, typically falling around June 20th–21st. It celebrates vitality, abundance, joy, and the fullness of life, while also reminding us that even at the sun's zenith, the Wheel begins to turn. Litha invites us to honor what has blossomed, gather what has matured, and step consciously into the season ahead. The Spread 1. The Longest Light What stands fully illuminated in this season of my life? 2. The Hearthfire Where should my energy be invested to sustain what truly matters? 3. The Ripening Which gifts, efforts, or qualities have reached maturity? 4. The Passing Hour What have I grown beyond and can no longer carry forward? 5. The Crowning Bloom What aspect of my life is currently flourishing most fully? 6. The Harvest What wisdom, blessings, or resources are ready to be gathered and put to use? 7. The Solstice Blessing What blessing or invitation does this season offer me now? My Cards 1. The Longest Light: The Chariot 2. The Hearthfire: Knight of Swords 3. The Ripening: Eight of Cups 4. The Passing Hour: Justice 5. The Crowning Bloom: The Moon 6. The Harvest: Seven of Cups 7. The Solstice Blessing: Six of Pentacles My Interpretation 1. The Longest Light — The Chariot The clearest truth emerging for me is that I know how to move forward. I may not have a perfect map, but I trust myself more than I used to. I've learned that direction matters more than certainty. 2. The Hearthfire — Knight of Swords I don't think this card is asking me to do more; I think it's asking me to stay mentally engaged. Curiosity, learning, writing, meaningful conversations—these are the sparks worth tending. The challenge is remembering that enthusiasm doesn't have to become urgency. 3. The Ripening — Eight of Cups I've become better at leaving. Not out of avoidance, but from recognizing when something has given all it can give. There is wisdom in knowing that honoring the past doesn't always mean remaining there.

Love this. A light is brighter in the darkness. The moon illuminates the night sky
Eudaimonia
Today, I'm sharing something in the Field Notes that has been quietly taking shape for a long time. "Eudaimonia" began more than a year ago as an attempt to put words around a deeply personal journey through survival, collapse, healing, and the gradual return to participation in life. I stepped away from it for many months because I wasn't yet sure what it wanted to become. Recently, I found my way back to it, and with that return came clarity. This is not a story of having everything figured out. It isn't a guide to healing, nor is it a declaration that difficult things can be neatly resolved. It is an honest reflection on what it has meant, in my own life, to learn how to move from endurance toward engagement—to stop asking only how to survive, and begin asking how I might want to be here. Because of the nature of the experiences explored, this piece includes discussion of depression, mental health struggles, emotional collapse, and experiences of profound hopelessness. Please take care of yourself as you read. There is no expectation that anyone engage with it before they're ready, or at all. WonderWander was created as a space for curiosity, meaning-making, and honest conversations about what it means to be human. Sharing this here feels both vulnerable and deeply aligned with that intention. If you choose to read it, thank you for witnessing it. And if parts of it echo your own experience, I hope it offers this reassurance: You are not alone in learning how to be here.

Cabinet of Curiosities
Greetings and Blessings, my friends! 🤗 I thought it might be fun to offer a little WonderWander engagement challenge—an invitation to share a piece of yourself with the community. Below, you'll find three different prompts. Choose the one that speaks to you most (or answer more than one if inspiration strikes!). This isn't about finding the "right" answer; it's simply an opportunity to connect, reflect, and get to know one another through the many ways we experience and make meaning of life. As a small thank you for participating, I'll be offering a complimentary one-on-one reading to one member of the group. You're welcome to answer more than one prompt if you like, but each member will receive only one entry into the final drawing. Responses should engage meaningfully with the prompt you've chosen. Follow the thread that feels most genuine, interesting, or alive for you. Option 1: "The Museum of Ordinary Magic" If your current season of life had an exhibit in a museum, what object would represent it, and why? Option 2: "The Belief You Outgrew" What's something you once believed about life, yourself, spirituality, healing, success, love, happiness—or anything else—that you no longer believe? What changed? Option 3: "Curiosity Trial" You may ask one question of the universe and receive a completely truthful answer. What do you ask, and why? A little note: Everyone who participates in good faith and engages with the spirit of the prompt will have their name entered into a random drawing, which I will reveal on the next Community Connect live meet and greet on June 27th at 3pm central time. This isn't about having the "best" answer. WonderWander isn't a competition for wisdom. It's simply an invitation to show up, join the conversation, and share whatever this moment calls forth in you.

I am going with The Museum of Ordinary Magic because it's the one I most want to avoid. My current season would have a CPAP machine. Everything I do revolves about being rested. The machine has helped to make it possible and yet I try and sabotage it by blowing up my calendar with too many appointments. And I don't love it so maybe House Slippers because that's the shoes I really want to wear. I want to be home, working from home and not have to wear anything uncomfortable. Yet I need to do uncomfortable things to grow.

Call Of The Cosmos
Call of the Cosmos I heard it young, a hum, a hush, A silver thread, a rising rush. It wound through wind, it sang through stone, A trembling, beckoning undertone. I reached too wide, I reached too deep, A flame that stirred but could not keep. The closer called, the further burned, And in the silence, I returned. Waters whispered, shadows spun, A mirrored sky, the distant sun. I drifted there through moonless tides, With nova stars behind my eyes. I learned the language of the void, The ache of empty space, employed. How hollow halls can still resound With lost refrains beneath the ground. I learned to listen, learn to hear, The hidden pulse both far and near. The hush between the heart's own beat, The sacred rhythm underneath. I learned to trust the voice that flows Through unseen paths where no one goes; To answer quiet, answer loud Each stellar song, each pulse avowed. I know now what was obscured - The mystery, pure and matured - The call once faint became my guide, And stars once distant burn inside.

Community Connect & Something New
A small update from inside WonderWander ✨ In about 2 hours, we’ll be gathering for Community Connect—our bi-weekly meet & greet in the group chat. 🕒 3:00 PM CDT (Central Time) That’s: - 1:00 PM PDT - 4:00 PM EDT - 9:00 PM BST - 8:00 PM UTC If you feel like dropping in, even briefly, you’re warmly invited. No preparation needed—just show up as you are. Also, I’ve just added a couple of new pieces to the Field Notes / Classroom space: 📖 DO NOT PANIC: A Practical Guide To Awakening A lighter, more humorous companion piece than my usual writing—offering a grounded way to meet big internal shifts without taking everything quite so seriously. 📓 A new guided journal companion to Cards & Crystals: Stewarding Energetic Ecosystems Designed to work alongside the article as a reflective practice space for your own exploration. If you’re in the mood for reading, reflecting, or just wandering through new material before the call, it’s all there waiting. Looking forward to seeing whoever feels called into the space later.
