When it's family or long time friends, there's often triggers and pressure points that we try to avoid in order to have a "happier season". 💝 But here's the truth, an offended heart stays in bondage and an UN-offended heart is a free heart. 🗝️ Maintaining grit guards your peace and God's grace releases the need to be right. 🪞 Reflection: Is there someone in your life that you're trying to avoid over the holiday season? 🙏Pray, “Lord, teach me to respond with grace instead of reacting in pride.” Practice Step: Challenge yourself! Allowing ourselves to be in situations that might have triggered us in the past, gives us a clear vision on where we really are in our walk. Avoiding and staying distant gives us only an illusion. We need to not only test the fruit in others, but also in ourselves. ❤️‍🔥✝️
