Yes people - I launched this group a little over a week ago and over 100 people have joined. This was one of my discussions with @Jill Cooper who has been pestering me to start a Skool group - so I threw spaghetti at the wall and some of it is sticking We have some basic info up Classes coming (as soon as we figure out this house thing I’ll know actual dates for the n8n class 🙄) plus requests for more classes As I stated this is to be a community without the craziness of Facebook (personally I’m enjoying no ads all the time) so if you know other authors who could benefit - send them over! It will remain free with just the classes costing extra. I’m still figuring out some things with this platform to make the best use of it and I think it is evolving as well. I’m learning new things to bring to you so you can decided what works best for you. Please know I am NOT an expert on all these things - I’m sure there are people more knowledgeable - I like to think though that over the last 30+ years in the online marketing space - I’ve learn to teach it at the level people are at. One of the things that annoys me with some of the experts is they expect me to be an expert as well and they talk fast and move on 🤦🏻‍♀️ that is NOT me 🤣 Yes - I talk fast (I do in real life as well) but I want you to learn and walk away knowing something. Happy Tuesday!!!

I’m currently very far behind in everything I want to get done, so I haven’t spent any time yet on this group and the classes but I will in the new year. Very excited to leverage AI into the future to grow my author brand and work smarter, faster, better.

So there is a big difference with Ideogram and Nano Banana I'm thinking Ideogram does better with "cute" than Nano - but it may be me needing to edit the prompt. But then Sci-Fi is kick butt when it's with Nano (I need to run one through to do a test of that)

@Dana Sacco I'm playing with Nano Banana now for the image to video function making new book trailers. I like it so far. I feel like I’m leveling up.

@Dana Sacco This was made yesterday, most of the images were, I believe, created in nano banana. I’m testing out Open Art, and it let’s you use many different softwares in one place.
It’s MONDAY!
Usually I’d so some motivational thing - but bleh I’m not feeling it. I’m sitting outside in the sun deciding what I want to start with. That’s the problem with my brain at the moment - I have so many things I want/need to do - I’m not sure where to start….. But for all those in the snow - here’s a picture of the sun and my fuzzy socks because the 60’s in cold in SW Florida 🤣
It’s MONDAY!

@Dana Sacco I start by having ChatGPT or Claude Storyboard a cinematic Hollywood/Netflix style series trailer, usually about 45 seconds. (I almost never do book trailers for individual books.) Then I have the AI write Midjourney prompts to create stunning images for each line of the voiceover. I use Midjourney to animate the images. I use 11 labs to do the voiceover. I use Suno to create a music soundtrack. Then, I bring everything together on Capcut. It’s VERY easy. If I like what I have and it converts well, I use ai to translate the voiceover into whatever language I want to advetise in and use 11 Labs to create a new voiceover. I swap out the language on capcut and have a new video for Germany or whererever. I can use the same trailer for multiple languages. Here’s an example. CAVEAT: All video ads can start of with 200 or 300 % ROI but they degrade fast, often within 2-3 months. The ad fatigue is very real with cinematic trailers but because Meta pushes them, the clicks are MUCH cheaper. Also, this is my OLD method. I’m currently about to start using OPEN ART and NANO BANANA and KLING O1 to create new trailers. I’ll let you know how it turns out, but I’m expecting MUCH better trailers. The technology is advancing SO fast it’s hard to keep up.

@Rachel G It seems to work well enough. It uses it’s own, adapted version of the “Save the Cat” outline that I was already very familiar with.
