@Catherine Sharon hey Catherine! Thanks for joining the group. I hear you, it’s not easy! I think with consistency it’s important to make times for creativity that are non negotiable. Even if it’s 2-3 hours and equally take consistent breaks. You gotta keep yourself mentally sound and feeling good and not buy into the hustle culture of working with no sleep or spending endless 12 hour days in the studio. Been there and done that and the result will be burnout and resistance towards going back. This music game is all about patience, discipline and consistency. Whatever allows those 3 elements to be continuously moving forward in the healthiest way possible. 5 years is very young in the music production world and just enjoy the journey, take your time, breath and enjoy the process. Money will come. Hone your skills, and work out what of your skills offers value and what can you monetise. Even if it’s creating lessons for beginners etc, you always have something to offer! What are your new projects for 2026?
Happy New Year 2026 all together.... what are you working on at the moment and what are your plans for this year? I am going to build a new YouTube channel for nature sounds and meditation and coming up with natural sounds. I am experimenting with Plant Music at the moment and bringing a new MPC Expansion which is all about the sounds of coconuts... Greetings from Mauritius Dennis
