Hi everyone, so I’m using the Conversation AI bot in GoHighLevel to automate follow ups/lead nurturing for my clients as part of my DFY offer. The problem is I live in the European Union (Ireland) and you can’t buy an Irish number in GHL with sms capabilities, and the regulatory bundles stuff is a nightmare. Even when I start getting American clients, you have to go through A2P registration and that often times fails, and the messages are green with that ‘reply stop to opt out message’ which absolutely kills conversions. Email follow ups are even worse, so that’s not an option. The only other alternative would be WhatsApp in GHL, however it looks like if my clients connect their business WhatsApp account they lose access to it on their own phone, that’s so stupid. If you are using GHL what do you use for AI automated follow ups for appointment booking? And is what you use for US clients different from EU clients? I heard some people say n8n is what they use. Does anyone have experience with both? Appreciate the help.

@Joshua C keeping it inside ghl won't work for what u want. ghl only supports the official meta api natively (which means u pay per message and have to verify a business). to bypass meta and use the free qr-wrapper, u have to use n8n as the middleware to route the logic. and yes, 100% use a separate sim so u don't risk banning the client's personal number. but they don't need a second phone for it. there's a simple trick with 'whatsapp business' app to run both numbers on their main device while the bot handles the backend.

@Joshua C damn 4 weeks is brutal man. the youtube tutorials always overcomplicate this part. it's literally a 5-minute fix using a cheap e-sim and the dual-app feature on your phone. since it's a step-by-step visual process, it's way easier to just show u. i'll shoot u a quick dm with the exact breakdown.

@James Knowles welcome to the space. infra is a great model, but manual provisioning is usually what kills scale. saw someone mention basic marketing, but from an architectural side, your biggest bottleneck is probably going to be onboarding. the real unlock for scale is automating the backend: client buys on your site -> stripe webhook fires to n8n/make -> api automatically provisions the domains -> sets up the DMARC/DNS records -> and injects them straight into a warmup pool (like instantly or smartlead). if u can fully automate that delivery loop so u aren't manually configuring DNS records all day, u can scale infinitely without hiring a massive team. just some food for thought

@James Knowles oh nice, u are already ahead of 90% of the market then! automated provisioning is a beast to build. if the delivery loop is already dialed in, the next logical step to scale (and reduce churn) is building auto healing or proactive health monitoring. the biggest reason clients churn in your space is their domains burn out because they dont monitor their spam rates. u could build a background n8n loop that pings google postmaster or blacklist apis every 24h for all active client domains. if a domain hits >0.3% spam rate, your system automatically pauses their active campaigns via the instantly api and alerts them before the domain is permanently fried. basically shifting your offer from just providing infrastructure to managed deliverability. would make your service completely sticky.
