Welcome to The PIVOT Commons.
You’re in the right place. Take a minute to watch the short video below. When you’re ready, introduce yourself — who you are, where you’re based, and maybe a little of what you’re navigating these days. Nothing formal. No need to have it figured out. Just step in where it feels natural.

Hello everyone, I am Sonja Blignaut. I am based at the Southern Tip of Africa. Thank you for enviting me @Dave Schoof! I've been working in the field of applied complexity for almost 25 years. Mostly as a consultant, now I am not so sure what to call myself anymore! As most others here, I am navigating multiple thresholds ... I am starting to realise that we are never not in a threshold! I am reshaping my work - towards more embodied, more mystical perhaps. I will always love the theory, but complexity is life, and life cannot be nacvigated with our minds only. I created a body of work called Waycraft, centred around an approach I call Waysfinding. It provides the scaffolding and helps people build their capacity to be in uncertainty, in liminality and in unknowing. And how do we create the conditions for that? I've also just finished a book about the thresholds we need to inhabit and cross in order to shift out of our linear, predictable and limiting relationships with work. Lately, I have become fascinated by the aliveness and beauty, and if it is possible to organise around those. What do businesses and teams (and lives) look like that partner with life? I don't have answers, I may never have, but for now I am really loving the questions! I look forward to journeying with all of you here.
