I built this prototype of an adaptive planner that automatically fixes your schedule when plans change.
I’ve been experimenting with a small prototype called Adapt. The problem I’m testing is this: Most planners work fine while the plan goes perfectly. But once something unexpected happens — a function, extra work, missed study session, low-energy day — you usually have to reorganize everything manually. Adapt tries to handle that recovery automatically. For example: - a missed task can move to another open slot - a larger task can split across smaller available slots - lower-priority work can defer if the week is overloaded - partial work can keep the completed portion and reschedule only what remains - you can type something like “I have a function tonight” and it adjusts the plan around that change I’m not selling anything yet. This is an early prototype and I’m trying to find out whether the underlying problem is actually worth solving. I’d especially like answers to these: 1. When your weekly plan gets disrupted, what do you normally do now? 2. Is manually reorganizing the remaining work actually annoying enough that you would want help with it? I’m more interested in criticism / “I wouldn’t use this because…” than encouragement. The prototype is live now. If anyone here is willing to test it for 5–10 minutes and give me brutally honest feedback, I’d really appreciate it.

@Muzamil Fatima That makes sense. I like the idea of using deadline + goal impact first and only asking the user when the priorities are genuinely too close, because otherwise the app could become annoying by asking for decisions too often. One thing I’m still thinking about is trust — if Adapt automatically chooses Task A over Task B, would you want it to briefly show why it made that choice, or would you rather it just make the change and let you check the reasoning only if you want?

@Veeru V Thanks — that’s exactly the behavior I’m trying to test. Since the prototype is live now, would you be open to trying it for 5–10 minutes and telling me where the scheduling logic feels wrong or different from what you expected? I’d rather get criticism than compliments at this stage.

Hey everyone, I'm Sneha from India. I have a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, and I chose the Builder path because I love creating things from the ground up. My goal: To sharpen my skills, build real projects, and land my first client. I'm starting from scratch, and I'm ready to put in the work every day. My why: I want to build financial independence while helping small businesses grow with AI. The idea of understanding a business's problems and building practical AI solutions that make a real difference is what excites me. Excited to learn from this community, connect with like-minded builders, and grow together. Let's go!
