Balancing Motherhood and DevOps Learning – Seeking Opportunities
Hello Everyone, Good morning! 😊 I’m reaching out today because I’m in need of some guidance. I’m currently learning DevOps tools on my own through YouTube channels, as I can’t afford any paid learning platforms right now. As a mother, I’m balancing housework and taking care of my child, but I’m really passionate about learning and growing in this field. However, studying on my own, after handling everything at home, can be overwhelming at times. What I’m looking for is something that will help me stay committed and accountable—something that will keep me focused and ensure that I’m completing tasks regularly. I’d be open to unpaid internships or any kind of opportunity that will give me real-time practice and help me stay consistent. I’m eager to gain hands-on experience and keep learning. If anyone has advice or knows of any opportunities, I would greatly appreciate your support and encouragement. Thank you so much! 🙏 @Mischa van den Burg @Sarhan Patel #internship #job

Multi Node Kubernetes cluster for local system
Hey.. I am in learning phase , and want to explore Kubernetes more with practice, but at the same time I can't spend more on AWS or any other cloud services to work on Kubernetes. I want to setup kubernetes on my single Laptop, where I can practice in Multi-node cluster. I tried Minimube but it's single node . So If anybody knows anything then please let me know. And also don't want to use any paid service. @Mischa van den Burg @Sarhan Patel

Kubernetes distro choice
Hi sorry, I am such a noob but could someone help me decide which Kubernetes is best if I have 4 mini pcs or sff pcs (think hp prodesk or dell optiplex type devices). I first saw minikube but then realized it had no multi-device support so I kept exploring and saw kubeadm but that scared me away so next I looked at k3s but I had my doubts. I am currently looking at Talos Linux as it seems easy enough but still production-grade. I know Docker and Linux fairly well. If anyone had a list of distros that would also be helpful. If you have seen my previous comments you may know I have a almost fully built truenas server so I could use that for storage but maybe larger ssds in the pcs and longhorn would be better. Does anyone have any advice? I would greatly appreciate any and all help.
