1 contribution to Write, Make, Flow
Lately I’ve been thinking about resistance.
As a writer and editor, I notice resistance usually shows up right before clarity does. The urge to procrastinate. The urge to over edit. The urge to doubt the idea. But flow starts when we allow imperfect action. Right now I’m focusing on showing up consistently and protecting deep work time. What helps you dissolve resistance when it appears?

@Molly Murray love that. “Done is better than perfect” really shifts the pressure. Perfection delays momentum, but completion builds confidence. Have you found it easier to apply that mindset in writing specifically?

@Jessical Scachetti I love how you put that “a sign that the work actually matters.” That’s powerful. Resistance often shows up when we’re about to stretch beyond our current comfort level. It disguises itself as over-editing or doubt, but it’s usually growth in disguise. When that resistance hits you, what usually helps you push through it?
