Read your work out loud. If you run out of breath, the sentence is too long. If you stumble, the wording needs tightening. If it sounds flat, vary sentence rhythm. Simple, but powerful. What’s one editing trick that improved your writing?
@Marcello Iori I completely agree. Fundamentals make a huge difference, and experience sharpens instinct over time. As for my background, I work as a content writer and book editor. I focus on strengthening clarity, structure, and narrative flow while preserving the writer’s voice. I’ve worked on blog content and manuscript editing, and I’ve seen how transformative an outside perspective can be. I also believe strong self-editing skills are empowering, even when you eventually bring in another set of eyes.
