Currently working on swapping a ve pump 24v into my first gen and have issues had the injectors repoped to 265 bar (stock vp44 nozzles) motor seems to be really doggy and sputters when revving do you have to put bigger nozzles in it to run properly?
Just did this last month, we set the pump timing to 16 degrees using a dial indicator and it purrs nicely, we used injectors from Dynomite Diesel just called them told them our plan and they got us set up with their 125hp injectors re popped to VE pressure
Curious on everyone's thoughts on the timing spacer has anyone used it and noticed a difference, in theory it seems like a good upgrade. Considering ordering one and trying it out.
