Tenant wants to move out early
My tenant just asked me if they could end their lease a month early because they are going into the military. I personally don't have a problem with this as long as I have someone to take over the apartment as soon as they're gone. I am a new landlord though and wanted to see what others do with a request like this. Would love your thoughts

That's great to know. I believe they're going to boot camp next month, and it sounds like I can't hold them to the lease since they're joining the military? What if him and his girlfriend are on the lease, and it's just him joining? Either way, I'll try and work with them, I just don't want to lose out on rent with the shorter notice
