Only dropped 1 new song, but was blessed to crossed 2 million total streams across platforms, performed for the first time, had a viral Tiktok song, and landed my first Spotify editorial placement. The growth is real! But next year is also about scale and application -- 10x'ing my music biz by applying everything I've learned along the way. For me, performing live is a love/hate relationship. I love performing I have confidence in my showmanship but getting people/fans to buy tickets (or to come for free) is a chore. I saw a tik tok by a music marketer saying "What's the point of doing shows if you don't have a fan base?". It made me think, maybe I should hold off on doing shows and wait until I build a strong fan base. During that time, I'll just do live shows digitally(mainly on TikTok). Would love to hear your thoughts on this!
