HI I am Sivaji, Sivaji Saha. I am a bengali, from Agartala, Tripura. My biggest kidney health concern right now is alarming speed of my protenuria's 24 hour content in mg. Happines and relaxation make me feel better.

What's the best way to protect kidneys from IGAn ? And during fever I always get a pain and my blood turns to yellow and urine flow reduces , i don take any antibiotics to address fever and cold, i understand during IGAn we need to treat cold and could soon when we get infected, kimdley suggest some kidney safe medicines during fever so that IGAn won't trigger and deposit in kidneys

I am 46 now. Till my 35, I was extremely lean. In 5 feet 4 inches height, weight might have been roughly 51..52 mx, even less. Then in 2016 suddenly some change happened in 6 month my weight became 62 without any effort. ChatGPT explained it to me in this way, that that mass consisted of muscle and fat and even if 50 percent of it were muscle, then had my cretanine been .7 before the event, it is highlu likelky to hav had stabilised at .9 or even more. chatgPT this way tried to make sense of my creatinine 1 , 1.1, 1,24, 1.08, 1.04, 1.08 in chronologoy this way. Is it correct explanation?
🧪 Urine ACR — The First Sign of Kidney Damage Most People Miss
Many people focus only on creatinine. But the earliest sign of kidney damage often shows up in your urine — not your blood. That test is called UACR (Urine Albumin-Creatinine Ratio). What is UACR? It measures how much protein (albumin) is leaking into your urine. Healthy kidneys don’t leak protein. If protein is present → it’s often the first warning sign. 📉 UACR Values (Simple Guide) • <30 mg/g → Normal Kidneys are not leaking protein • 30–300 mg/g → Early damage (Microalbuminuria — very important stage) • >300 mg/g → Significant damage (Macroalbuminuria — needs proper evaluation) ⚠️ Why This Test Matters UACR is often the first detectable sign of: • Diabetes-related kidney damage • High blood pressure damage • Early CKD (even when creatinine is normal) 👉 This means your creatinine can look “normal” but kidney damage has already started. 📌 When Should You Be Concerned? You should take it seriously if: • UACR is above 30 mg/g repeatedly • You have diabetes, high BP, or family history • Your values are rising over time One single high value is not enough — it should be confirmed (2 out of 3 tests). 🧠 What Should You Do Next? In my case spot urine analysis is giving protein negative, uacr less than 30, creatinine 1.08, but 24 hour protein jumping to 310 from 80 two months ago. Now same time reports are contradicting, ucar less than 30, protein no trace in morning first urine sample of 50 ml but the day before in 24 hour urine test total protein came 310. I m confused as hell.

+My problem started when after a 8 years of sedentary lifestyle, suddenly I got medical reports from lal path lab with creatnine 1.24 , protein 1+ and lots of froath in urine in April,2025. I ddinot take seriously and in October got the tests redone, this time urine test showd no protein but some rbc and pus cell and crratning 1.08. From here I stooped taking my favourite tea with veeryday milk and suger and switch too just liquor tea with a little jaggery and stooed eating outside food. With this routine in enterrd march 26 and my tests showd cystatin c - .98 , creatine 1.04, 80 mg protein in 24 hour, though the forath was always there. Then I testes last week and suddenly my 24 hour test gave 310 mg protein, cystatin c .97 , creatning 1.08 and all other test reports normal. I had a confusion, cycytatin is not likely to come down like creatnine does. But from march to may my cystatin c came down from .98 to .97. but I understand even with all hope, cystatin c at so much high may not be good while it starts from .6. But yesyerday I saw a video of Dr Shoaib Khan of SAP Kindey center whom I once met in march, he is showing rocred of a 50 plus strong bulit man, whose cretaine is 1.5, which is due to msuhcle so no issues with less eGFR, but his cystatin c is .998 with the lab showing range .6 to 1.11. and he is saying he is fully normal and the patient is happy too. Although he guy is older to me, I am 46, he is 50 plus, stil I am getting with with less cystatin c than him, it confused me.
Me and my kidney
I have started brisk walking, good sleep although with some assistance from psycharist, keeping down the stress, more choosy in food aimed at kidney to see if my protein output comes down. The journey begins.
Drinking water with Spherical Containers
Dear Dr Arjun Ji, Was thinking on water properties kept in Spherical shape pots (Matka). Can we use take advantage of these benefit for Person who has restriction on water intake. Drinking water with Spherical containers actually reduce surface tension of water which will enter the cells easier than drinking in cylindrical shape glass so cells will feel hydrated with least intake.

@Arjun Sabharwal Dr in internet I came accross advices to drink alkaline water and not normal water, to reduce acid load on the nephrons. Is it correct thing to do? And how to make water alkaline, if we use a filter, isnt it contaminating the water with chemicals in the name making it alkaline?
