Gemi here, from Phnom Penh, Cambodia. A little late to introducing myself, but I’m happy to finally say hello! I graduated with a degree in International Relations a few months ago. Growing up around my parents’ gas station business, which handles both retail and bulk fuel orders, gave me an early introduction to business. I help monitor sales, and I’m still learning so much through the everyday responsibilities. At some point, I started asking myself: “What if I built something I genuinely love from zero?” So, alongside two amazing co-founders, I started Reap Roi (a Cambodian womenswear brand focused on modern, elegant pieces for work and everyday life.) Within our first 15 days, we sold around 30% of our launch inventory. A small milestone, but a very proud moment for me, haha! Right now, I’m focused on building my personal brand and improving my social media skills so I can tell our story better. Posting has never been a natural habit for me, so showing up consistently and letting people see the process is something I’m learning. Beyond business, I’m passionate about character and mindset development especially becoming more disciplined, confident, and intentional in how I live and work. I enjoy going to the gym and have recently decided to try taekwondo. I’m in that stage of figuring things out while taking responsibility for the things I want to BUILD. One reason I wanted to join TFW comes from my 2025 leadership-training experience. What stayed with me were the honest conversations: hearing other people’s stories, reflecting on my own life, and becoming more comfortable opening up to people from different backgrounds. I’d love to find that connection here too: to meet women beyond my usual circle, hear different perspectives, and share what I’m learning along the way. I’m still figuring out this chapter after university, and I’m excited to get to know you girls as I do. my insta: @ts.gemi What’s something you’re learning or starting for the first time at this stage of your life? 🤍
