🔥What is everyone learning? Let me know what I need to be looking at!
Hey everyone! I hope all is well. What are you learning? I love getting ideas from you all. Let me know what I need to look at next. Any projects or tools you have discovered recently?

Working on learning Java in case the job offer I'm waiting on comes through. Working on Flux CD for my Kubernetes Cluster in my Homelab so I can deploy some services (Linkding, CommaFeed, Homepage, etc.). Also trying to dabble with n8n along with working on the back log of stuff I have started.
3D Printers
Just wondering how many own a 3D printer, what type or brand and your thoughts (pros and cons).

I've got a Ender 3 v2, haven't used it mush but it's pretty nice has a good size bed. Downside is I'm having problems replacing the filament.

@Wayne McCormick when feeding the filament through it gets to the nozzle however it doesn't get pass there. I have heated the nozzle up to the correct temperature for the filament but still not getting anything to come out.
Database in k8s
Since running a PostgreSQL database inside a container is not recommended for production, which managed service would you recommend for using the database in a Kubernetes environment? I’ve developed a Python application that is currently containerized using Docker, with three separate containers: backend, frontend, and the app logic. I’m now planning to migrate this application to a Kubernetes cluster and looking for the most cost-effective (ideally zero-cost) solution to support this setup.

@Dave Kama Have you taken a look at https://cloudnative-pg.io/? As it might be a solution to running postgresql on Kubernetes. I know Mischa van de Berg posted a video about running postgresql on his channel.
Kubernetes homelab OS
Hi guys I am working on an app like umbrel or casaOS etc but is based on kuberenetes instead of docker. It is a work in process and has some really bad ai code for things that need to be writen in languages I have never touch but I wanted to get your opinions on the idea. If you would like to see this open sourced say so and I will prioritise it.

@Savor Fit sounds like a cool idea! What languages were written with AI? Open sourcing it might help you get assistance with the AI code slop.
What Is Your Primary OS Daily Driver
I have two desktops (Win10 Pro and Linux) with my primary daily driver being Linux KDE Neon 6.3.5. Both desktop are linked together using a program called Synergy 3 which allows me to use one set of keyboard and mouse. I can smoothly go between the desktops with the mouse and this also allow me to copy and paste files as well. I also have Bluetooth speakers which is linked to both desktop so I can listen on one and work on the other. I included some pictures.
