November Releases
Hi everyone :) Anyone else releasing today? I released this one: https://open.spotify.com/track/5zrOV7K8PPnITVKCOhrDH1?si=7bd83c52c65d4124 I think I talked about it in one of our calls before, when we were talking about titles and if they play a role in the creative process. This track is an example of being super title relient - first I had the title '15'til bedtime' and then I started recording melodies that matched the lullaby vibes. So if you need something to calm you down in the evening this song is for you :) Curious to hear some other new songs! Also an idea: Maybe we should group the release threads into 'november 2025 releases' so we have one thread per month. idk thought it might be cool, what do you guys think? Hope everyone had a great week! Simon

sorry to hear about that client loss and fingers crossed things get more stable soon! for me the hangout calls and opportunity to connect with likeminded humans in here are what's most valuable! I also really like the idea of feedback calls :) good luck with everything!
a great watch and mindset
@Freddie Webber I hope you don't mind me shouting your video out here. just stumbled upon it on YouTube and I think its a great example of how honest, humble, and entertaining content can also look adn feel. keep it up mate 🫶🏼🦦

@Freddie Webber watched the full thing and it looks like you know quite something about what you're doing <3 enjoyed watching it.. I'd love to make so cool videos myself. but currently nothing in my life feels interesting enough to make a long video about.. keep making these, I'd appreciate watching more of your journey :)
postponing the hang out to sunday
to the ones that planed on joining the hang out tomorrow, would you also be down with Sunday same time? 🦦

Best Approach To Starting A New Project
Howdy all, So I have been collecting ideas, making recordings, and basically gearing myself up to publicly start my instrumental project (need to finalise on a name, got it down to two choices now, and then obviously there's the visuals, artwork, video ideas, etc) but my main questions for the community are these: 1) Should my first release be just one single or perhaps an EP/album? A part of me says that a collection of songs would be better so as to 'hook in' a potential audience for the type of stuff I'll be doing. 2) I already have a social media presence with my singer-songwriter/sessioning stuff and the idea of starting ANOTHER page that I'm going to have to share and send to people, get them to like it and follow it makes me feel exhausted just thinking about it. Would it be acceptable, do ya'll think, to tack on to my existing profile this new project? 3) Thank you for reading this. I hope you're having a lovely day 😀

Hey Freddie, some very late thoughts onto this topic as I was browsing around here looking for interesting music stuff to procrastinate studying.. ;) 1) I'd start with a single to make starting as easy as possible. You can still regroup it into an EP or Album in the future :) - also for me if I release a bunch of tracks at once and they don't get a lot of attention I tend to be more demoralised and sad than with 1 track but maybe that's just me. 2) not sure about this one. I now have 2 different accounts and I'm a bit annoyed by it but on YouTube and TikTok it seems to be worth it - the new account grows faster than my singer songwriter account ever did so maybe this is a pro for making a new account for the new project. 3) you too, can't wait to hear some toebeans :)
