Wood or Hybrid
I’m terrible at making clean contact with a 3-5 wood. Would a hybrid feel more like an iron and less like a driver? I’m obviously extremely new.

I’m looking for something in longer and maybe easier to hit than a 4iron. I have a 3 wood, and I know it’s a skill issue, but I’m better off hitting a 8iron than I am hitting that wood. I’ve never had a chance to hit a hybrid, so I’m curious. Thanks for the reply.
