🚨 No Call This Week… But Here’s What You SHOULD Be Doing Instead
Team, Quick update for this week 👇 There will be no coaching call this Wednesday. I’m taking the time to celebrate @Alyssa Rae Villa’s birthday on Wednesday and be present with my family as we prepare for this next chapter. Appreciate you all understanding that. Now here’s where most of you mess up… No call does NOT mean no progress. ⚠️ Non-Negotiable: Weekly Check-In (⬅️Click) Your weekly check-in still needs to be submitted today. No excuses. This is how I track your development and give you real feedback. 🔥 This Week = COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT CHALLENGE If you’re seeing this, I want you to post a question in the community. Yes, YOU. Most of you stay quiet… and that’s exactly why progress is slower than it should be. We’re fixing that this week. Use this template to post: 1. What I want to improve right now:(Be specific. Not “get better”… that’s weak.) 2. Where I struggle the most:(Be honest. This is where growth actually starts.) 3. My goal for the next 30–60 days:(What are you actually chasing?) 4. What I’ve tried so far:(Show effort. Don’t come empty.) I’ll be actively responding and coaching inside the community all week. ⚽ Be a Student of the Game We’ve got high-level matches this week in the UEFA Champions League. Don’t just watch… STUDY: - Movement off the ball - Decision-making speed - Positioning in key moments If you’re serious about improving, this is free learning. 💐 Heads Up: Mother’s Day Weekend Make sure you take time to appreciate your moms this weekend.Handle your responsibilities on and off the field. Final Reminder - Submit your check-in - Post your question - Stay engaged The players who win in this program are the ones who show up, speak up, and take action. Let’s raise the standard this week.

Hi coach! My biggest issues on the field are a few, My fist one is my first touch, I feel like my first touch is ok when there’s no pressure on me but when I feel like there is I rush it and let the ball come into me to much and it effects my immediate pass but sometimes the pressure isn’t coming as fast as I thought. 2nd is my spacing knowing where to position myself playing forward. Now that I have been playing more forward lately I feel like sometimes i don’t put myself in right positions to shoot the ball or to be there for rebounds or far post shots. 3rd when I’m playing defense I have a bad habit of over committing on the striker or forward early in the games. I feel like after I’ve made a mistake I play more cautious and read there moves then react to make a move on the ball. I would like to not make a mistake early and read the players before a mistake happens. 4th are my free kicks I have been working on them but sometimes they are a little off or hit the bars. Here’s a video of me shooting one that looked good but hit the side post. Finally happy birthday @Alyssa Rae Villa @Jessie Echeverria nad happy Mother’s Day to all the mothers.

NEW FREE RESOURCE FOR ESA24 MEMBERS
Hey ESA24 family! Just dropped something inside the community that every parent and player needs to grab right now. It's called the Shin Splints Recovery Guide — a full PDF built specifically for soccer players ages 6-16 using current sports science research. I put this together because I kept seeing players sit out way longer than necessary just because they didn't know what to do. Here's what's inside: - How to diagnose shin splints at home - The full R.I.C.E. protocol broken down simply - Daily stretching routine for fast recovery - Phase 1 and Phase 2 strengthening exercises - Cross-training options to stay fit while healing - Week-by-week return to play protocol - Nutrition tips to speed up healing - Parent Q&A quick reference This is the same approach I use with my players inside the 6-month program. No fluff, no guessing — just a clear plan to get your player back on the field faster and stronger. Download it in the resources section. And if you know another soccer parent who needs this, share it with them. Drop a comment below — has your player dealt with shin splints before? What worked? Let's help each other out. See you on the field. Coach Jessie | Elite Soccer Academy 24

Thank you coach! This will be useful if shyla ever happens to get shin splints.
Finishing with a bullet shot for the goal!!
shyla had 3 games this weekend and finished with 3 goals! She stuck to the pre game meals and half time snacks and I saw the extra energy she got out of every half of each game. She had pretzels one game with water another one she apple sauce with water and the last game she stacked it up with some pretzels and two pieces of sour patch. I will say I’ve never seen this much energy out her coming out of the halftime break. She’s trusting the process, and is a for sure believer!! 💪🏽😂 let’s goooo!!!! She’s also getting comfortable playing forward not dropping to much on defense which is helping her to finish and dominate on the offensive side of the pitch.
