Built my first AI agent. Now scaling acquisition is humbling me. 💜
I've spent the last few weeks going from 'how do I even get clients?' to 'why is cold outreach so brutal?' to "Why do I not even have one single person in my circle to even do warm outreach and start from my circle" (spoiler: it's both harder and more learnable than I thought). Here's the reality: I'm a B.Tech student + founder building AI voice agents for customer support and outreach in India. I've landed my first anchor client, tested my stack (Bland AI + n8n + Claude API), and shipped some demos. But acquisition? That's the gap I'm staring at. I'm not looking for someone to hand me clients—I'm looking to learn from people who've actually figured out how to reach decision-makers in verticals like logistics, fintech, or customer support. What works at your agency? What's your conversion rate on cold outreach? What made your first 2-3 clients actually happen? Genuinely grateful for any real talk on this. 🚀
Blank cursor to first calls — 0 responses, what am I missing?
Been wondering about whom to call whom to message for my first client... just like the blinking cursor when you open a blank sheet to write, I have been just waiting to put the first word down. Today I did exactly that I did put my first word down into the blank sheet. I chose a niche and called a few people over the phone and sent my ai audit form. This experience was indeed overwhelming at first because in the era of introverts this absolutely sent chills down my spine, not everybody took up my call and the few ones who did for sure became mystery a question mark and 0 responses on my form till now. What's a reasonable number of calls/audits before judging if the niche or pitch needs to change is what I wish to ask ?

I'm All In
Hello Everyone, I just joined this community this morning after watching Liam's videos on YouTube and deciding to finally do something about my abysmal lack of understanding when it comes to AI. My name is Olly. I'm originally from the UK but have been living in the Japanese countryside for almost 10 years now. I have a wife and two small children, and living and working in the countryside in Japan just wasn't providing the kind of opportunities I was looking for when it comes to earning good money for my family. Last year I decided to go into recruitment and I am now travelling between Tokyo and our place in the countryside in order to earn more money for my family. It is going very well so far and our lives have improved dramatically in just one year, but I want more - more money for my family, more time with my family, more skills to increase my value in the marketplace, and ultimately some knowledge on AI systems so that I can stay at the forefront of technological changes as they occur. I look forward to getting stuck into all the resources and knowledge Liam and everyone else has kindly shared here, and hopefully one day in the not so distant future I will also be contributing to this community and beyond in my own way. Best regards, Olly

I'm All In
Hello everybody, it is Shreya this side and I hope I will be able to become a responsible member of this community while I continue to go on with my journey to get my first client and eventually be able to start my own ai automation agency and my why to do all of this is quite simple I like it and I have always wanted to do business; at first when I was in school I wasn't sure what I wanted to do with my life but I was pretty sure that I was the boss lady in my dreams of future at home giving speeches to invisible people in my balcony while being out in scorching heat and giving away instuctions to people motivating them guiding them on what... not so sure anymore but I clearly loved leading and eventually with time I realised that if I start a business one day I will be just having the time of my life , all the fun and happiness in this world would be mine so I hope I get to connect with a lot of people here and succeed in my mission to live a happy life.💜
