Everybody is out here building apps on Lovable today because it’s free. I love seeing people get creative. But let’s talk about what happens tomorrow. The apps don’t magically disappear. But the AI inside those apps still costs money to run. If you keep a Lovable subscription, the usage comes out of your credits and your app keeps working. If you don’t have credits or a subscription, the app basically stops working. The page may load, but the AI features won’t run. Think of it like this. The app is the car. The credits are the gas. No gas, no driving. Here’s the tip a lot of people miss. Build your apps so they can pay for themselves. Example. I built CuddleCraft Studio where users get 5 free image generations. After that, if they want more, they subscribe. That means the people using the app are covering the cost of running the app. Free tools are fun. But smart builders turn their apps into products.
