My Niche Too Specific?
My channel currently focuses on issues that I have dealt with being a special needs Mom, an adoptive Mom, and a foster Mom. I’m wondering if I should start to focus on general Mom issues such as bedtime, bullying, getting your kids to change behaviors, etc. My problem is being a special needs, foster/adoptive Mom is my life. It is very easy for me to quickly do a video on an issue that we currently have going on as a family. On the other hand, I’m not in a situation were it’s your normal everyday simple life and that kind of closes my mind to the more simple everyday Mom issue that I could possibly speak about. Simple Mom ideas would be appreciated well.

@Melanie Draper Thank you so much! Can you tell me how to make a playlist? I have no idea when it comes to tech lol!

@Diane Dixon Thank you so much! That really means a lot to me!
Website?
So I got my youtube channel up and running (www.youtube.com/whatsupopa) and my first two videos posted. While I was going through this initial setup I decided to register the whatsupopa.com domain to have a more professional looking contact email. Ideally, if/when things take off I can use this website to offer merchandise, affiliate links, whatever. But - for now it is just the standard GoDaddy "Under Construction" page. My question is: Is it worth the time to build out a customized simple webpage there when the only thing I imagine it would do is point back to my youtube channel?

I enjoyed your most current video and subscribed to your channel. Yes, the kids are always watching, right. Good or bad. Great start to your channel. Lots of luck to you!!!!
Struggling
If you are struggling to get monetized; check out vidiq. It helped put me on the map. I got monetized as soon as I stated using it. Before using it I was post a little this and a little that. Not sure what my niche was. When I hit a home run my audience told me what my niche was. Keep posting don’t quit or give up and check out vidiq.

Thoughts?
Starting and growing a YouTube channel can be an amazing way to build visibility, connect with people, and open doors to new opportunities. But I’ve also been thinking about the other side of it—mainly around privacy and personal safety. As your channel grows, not everyone respects boundaries, and it can get tricky figuring out how much to share and how to protect your space and your home. I’m not at that point yet, but I’d love to hear from those of you who’ve been through it. Have you had to deal with people crossing the line? How do you protect your privacy and your home and family while still staying authentic with your audience? Would really appreciate any tips, stories, or lessons learned.

@Ruslana Vee honestly, you kind of have to want to be found then. Mr. Beast himself gives out that his first name is Jimmy. I guess stars like Megan Kelly etc… would have actual security people

Have you had stalkers before?
If you are in your 20s, 30s or even early 40s
Does this video provide the value I intended? Is it helpful? Without being overwhelming.

I’m not your target audience here as I’m 46, but 10 items is a lot for 1 video. I do like how in your introduction you stress the importance of starting early to build wealth
