🧶🧶🧶 I joined to continue my crochet design journey and to be part of the Crochet Like the Pros community, guided by a seasoned crocheter and designer.

For me, the half double is my Goldilocks stitch. It’s not too small. It’s not too tall. It’s just right!

I needed a break from work and wearables and have been wanting to try amigurumi again after about a decade, but I do not love chenille yarn as some of you know very well. However the skinny chenille made it much more enjoyable. I did follow a pattern after all this time since this is not my wheelhouse (it called for acrylic yarn but I was curious how the plush look would turn out). The experience confirmed that with a bit of studying shapes (increasing and decreasing) that I could very well design my own.

I am working on a top right now. I’m a little concerned that it might be a bit form-fitting. Usually I have the opposite problem! 🤣
