Moment of Humor - 2 minute
Here is my second attempt at a funny 2-minute story. I am aiming at a 1-minute story, but this one got it down from a 7-minute story to a short 2 minutes. Shorter stories are funnier. You lose your audience with long stories. Framework. Intro- Situate the listener: When, What, who and where the story takes place., Body: conflict, conclusion: Next time this happens to you, remember...

Please give me feedback. I need help with pacing and pauses.
Moment of humor- 1.25 minute story
This is a story about fight or flight and good intentions, which I wrote using a framework. Introduction: I situated the listener: time, place, conflict, and concluded it with a transition .. Next time... remember... At Toastmasters, it was a 2minute story.. tried to cut it down to a minute. I am trying to come up with short 1-2 minute stories. This is the first.

Day 1 : the one thing, word Confidence
I had the pleasure of taking Marone's Workshop at Concordia Toastmasters in Montreal. He is a very talented and generous teacher. This is the speech that I did in front of the class. During the workshop, we got transcriptions of what we said word by word. I rewrote my transcript, figured out the grammatical mistakes, and then, as soon as I hit play, I didn't read my script. I started talking about what I learned. I am sure I made new mistakes. That is part of the journey.

@Sonja Rokos . Yes, I noticed that too. I was reading my notes, then not reading them. Funny how our attention shifts between concentrating on the text or the connection we are making. Sometimes it is hard to make it balance.
Day 7: Motivation
I finished the last day of the challenge. Yoohoo!

I love your takeaways. Your conclusions usually end with how to implement what you have said in our own lives. Thanks
Day 6- Opportunity
These last few days I think about how to structure my little speeches here. ;-) I’m having so much fun, and I’m really motivated by all the benefits Marouane offers when you complete the 7-day challenge. It’s a great platform to practice and improve.

As always, you are engaging, you practice what you preach, and it is always a treat to listen to your speeches. Yes I agree with you. I have to get back into the ring and do it.
